Jarrod, those one lb. gas bottles DO leak. The "valve" is just a rubber ball, one speck of dirt unseats it. Camping stores, or Amazon, sell solid brass caps with a rubber inner top, which guarantee that a bottle can't leak. About two for $5, cheap insurance.

I love this. Great EASY van! When my Hubby retires we will trick out his work van for full time. But, for now, I cut out a mattress pad to fit in the current configurations of his van. My Yeti is a 200 lithium but I don't have a dometic fridge, just a coleman electric ice chest and his van came with it's own inverter so we bounce back and forth.

That’s a sweet build. I like smaller van builds such as this one. There has to be a lot of thought that goes into building a comfortable and efficient home on wheels. Of course everyone wants to be able to stand in their van. When you’re on a budget you gotta be a little more creative.

I don’t do stealth or have a van but I find these types of videos interesting! I think that this video is about the best because this van has all the necessities and you don’t have to over spend. Like the solar panels that come like a kit and don’t have to frustrate your self with too much wiring! Only thing is having a portable toilet would be a necessity for me! Would come in handy when you wake up in the middle of the night and your too sleepy to go to a gas station. Being a Californian that is living in Kentucky I would have to have a heater n air conditioner! But if I ever live again in California (which may not happen) I can see not having a air n heater there! Question! Are there any stealth home remodelers that live in their van or RV n work and have their tools in it in the San Francisco area? I’ve tried to search through KZbin but couldn’t find anything regarding that situation. Thanks for the wonderful video!

Look into a peestyle or tinklebell. Seriously, it was a game changer for me! I went on a hike today with the nastiest bathroom at the trailhead. It was so nice not to have to sit on the toilet.
@shanedennis11364 жыл бұрын
That can be debated. Different situations. I’d say females have it pretty easy during a 4 am tinkle. All they gotta do is sit on the toilet. Outside in the woods they can squat behind a bush while a man has to find a tree and position himself a certain way so he doesn’t pee on his shoes or get back splash. Under what circumstances do males have it easier? Being able to pee on a bottle? Ok I’ll give you that but try peeing with an erection...

For anyone considering electric: always remember that you should not put a lead-acid battery anywhere in your living quarters.

Everyone building their own camper van conversion needs to learn Murphy's Law of Estimating which is, estimate the time you think it will take you and then double that, and then use the next higher unit of measurement. So, if you think it will take 2 weeks to finish, double that to 4 weeks and then use the next higher unit which would be months. So, 2 weeks estimate would be 4 months actual.
