I’ve loved this group for over 25 years. Even now their music still speaks to my life. ❤️🩹 God was merciful to let me exist at the same time as them

People are equal. Ideas are Not. You used God for what you needed, now you left. You have deceived us. God is never deceived, but he is patient.

Jars of Clay really pulled the wool over the eyes of the conservative Christian community and scored a pretty good dollar doing so. Back in the day, Christian music artist Steve Camp wrote a small thesis of what would become of Christian music and the industry. He was exiled from the Christian music industry because of being a threat to the establishment. The biggest music artists spoke out against him and shamed him. He was 100% correct and it played out exactly as he had warned in his writing and we are seeing it throughout the Contemporary Christian music industry. It’s only gotten worse for the past 20 plus years.

And then they decided to come into the Christian music scene to crucify God's words.

I’ve decided to throw all of my jars of clay CDs away. You have stepped into the secular world and you support PRIDE. And by the way, our actions ARE important to God…we’re not judged on some warm fuzzy feeling. I hope and pray that you guys return to the the truth of scripture rather than trying to blend in with the world.

I think they may have always been of that belief. Who knows why they chose Christian music as their path.

I would have a lot more respect for you guys if your frontman didn't openly reject the word of God all over social media. You gave up on your convictions for popularity. You are being consumed by the beast and need to repent.

No Christians in this band all have rejected jesus and the bible, opened their arms to the world, and embraced PRIDE.
