That episode Jarvis mentioned with the boy that disappeared in the closet, literally haunted me my whole life since I saw it first air in the 90s. When they said it was fact, it confirmed every fear I had, not to mention my brother used to lock me in closets so I already hated them. I only found out days ago the full story and it feels like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after decades of wonder what really happened. I think the reason there was so much focus put on the gardenia float is because it's something from the 30s/40s and they were trying to make the audience wonder why Jane was familiar with something from that time period. This is further evidenced by her knowledge of the town's layout being outdated, plus Bud joking that the mail carrier had been working for 100 years but then Jane knowing something about her.

It's always funny when a show uses an upside down cross, I get it when someone's being edgy, but you'd think the writers would know that it's St. Peter's cross and is actually a stronger sign of Christian faith as Peter did not feel he was worthy to be crucified the same way Jesus was.

I am EMOTIONALLY INVESTED in clip 1:18:40 - 1:18:50 As an electrician in America, I can tell you the industry standard between commercial vs residential for outlet placement. The little mouth on the outlet is where the green ground wire goes. The ground is down in residential projects and up in commercial projects. The wiring behind the outlet is the same, no flames required. Why is this one ground up? It's likely on a set, which would be a commercial build, and the electrician popped it in no fucks given to cinematography. HERE IS WHY I AM EMOTIONALLY INVESTED. No one, fucking NO ONE I work with can tell me why commercial is up and residential is down. I am in an electricians UNION and none can tell me why that is. If an electrician in your audience can tell me, I will be able to sleep better at night. Wishing you the best, This Bitch

You should do a stream where you go through all of the different fact or fiction stories and research the stories behind the ones they say are fact

I love this crossover, now he just needs to hang out with atrioc. They already sat next to each other at Stanz’s wedding

32:58 im not a fashion nerd but. im pretty sure every single one of those women are wearing regency dresses (1811-20) which is weird bc the titanic definitely did not happen in the early 19th century. even if they arent regency, thats still not what the women wouldve worn jonathan frakes u betray me with ur historical inaccuracy

They look more like mid 19th century dress to me, since regency silhouette is more "simple" looking (waistline right under the bust, women's beauty standards were heavily inspired by classical greek statues). The dresses in the show look more like 1850s-1860s to me due to the shape of the skirt (circular crinoline rather than the oval shaped bustle of the later decades), as well as the necklines being v shaped and sort of off the shoulder, typical for an evening gown of the mid 19th century. Still a historical inaccuracy if they were trying to go for when the novella was published in 1898, though.

I knew the amnesia one was fake because they said that a grave of someone who looks exactly like her was nearby and she would never know. if it was a real story then she would know. Who would’ve even told the story then?

The Titanic story drove me nuts because all the women are dressed wrong. They're all wearing late 1800s gowns and the Titanic sank in 1912, which had a very distinct style of fashion afjkdslafhdusaif

I am so annoyed because that closet story scared me so bad when I was the kid. To the point that I would literally freak out having to go into a closet.
