I have 4c hair and have been natural for abt 12 years…I’m going to try my perm rod set on dry hair because I tried last week on freshly washed hair and it was a fail. My hair reverted all the way. From roots to strands. Stressing not to put product on the hair i think is going to make a major difference.

I was supposed to do my hair today, but I got super busy so tomorrow it is. My hair is super moisturized & shiny. I know I shouldn't have, but I did. I know it will be ok because I did it 3 years ago with olive oil. People asked me for 6 days straight how did I get my hair so nice & shiny. Ok back to you 🤣. I'm sure it'll be okay. I'm doing the orange rods tomorrow evening. Right on time 🧡. Your hair came out beautiful and you were outside. Is your hair dyed/bleached blonde? If so, do you have a video on how to maintain healthy natural (dyed) hair whilst using heat? It’s so pretty! ❤

It's a gentle lift with bleach before adding color. I have a "healthy hair" playlist if you want to check that out. One thing about color and heat, I don't do direct heat often. I flat iron maybe once or twice a year. I learned the hard way that I had to choose one or the other. I used to be in the salon every two weeks for a fresh flat iron and i was platinum blonde. No bueno. Less is more when you are using color for sure. I hope that helps!

Doing styles on blown out hair gives me more length. Less shrinkage.

really cute .. I use Lotta Body but my curls do not come out so beautiful .. My hair is not that long only medium Im using the orange rods and my curls do not last overnight without going flat .. Any suggestions on how to get those tight curls .. the rollers are tight but Im not getting the curl ..

If your hair is shorter, try going one size down to get more rotations around the rod to get a longer curl.
