i started in computers in 1976 - US Navy P3-C patrol aircraft - we used 10 inch magnetic tape reels to load the computer before flights ... I stopped watching television in 1980 - at the age of 23 years old and only found Duck Dynasty on the web - many years after it was made ... maybe around 2017 or something - I remember the first time i saw you guys pray at the end of the show - i cried great tears of joy ... the reason i stopped watching TV is because it was mostly all garbage and i stayed busy with computers from then until now

@@sherryjohnson2152 if you believe the first verse of the bible - then you should not have any trouble believing everything else in the bible because the same God who made the world and protected it all these years - is the same God that made the bible and preserved it all these years - the bible says that God made the world and everything in it in 6 days . - it seems someone would have to have a bad attitude about God saying He made the world in 6 days if they want to try to believe their lying eyes - what if a scientist of today analyzed the wine that Jesus made from water ? ? ? the scientist would say - this wine was made from grapes that were pressed and the juice was aged perfectly by the process of bacterial metabolism for a long time and the wine is perfect in every way because of the long process that it has undergone . - do you think God made the world and put in place - all the apparent identifiers that make analysis consider it must have taken 10 gazilliion years ? if He can create the best wine instantly - then He can make the world in 6 days - no problem - - did you know that He knows the thoughts and intents of every person that ever exists ? which god are you thinking about if you argue about a 6 day creation ? God in the bible says He did it in 6 days .

it is sad that some people - many people - don't realize that the same exact way that Jesus CHOSE those whom the Father was drawing - when He chose the disciples - is the same EXACT way He CHOOSES and draws people today - and from the beginning - while God searched the earth and found that there was NO one seeking Him - He chose to save some people and reveal Himself to them and by His love He persuades them with an irresistible presence to know the truth that they are lost and need a savior . - No one can come to the Father by their own initiative or will - it is ALL the choice of the Father to draw whomsoever He will for His purposes . WHY ? because - before He saves us - we are a slave to satan and dead in trespasses and sin - every notion and imagination of our heart was evil continually - we have only a natural mind with NO conception of ANYTHING spiritual - all truth is spiritual - and NO truth is understandable to the natural mind - NONE - a lost person who had not been given the Holy Spirit by God - has no way to understand ANY truth - and what we thought we knew about truth was corrupted by our evil imagination . - that is the biblical view on who is saved and why - it is ALL the work of God and it is specific and applicable to EVERY person who is saved - God does not draw every person in the world - He draws only those clay vessels that He has prepared - by His own choice - for receiving His Spirit . - if God does not send a preacher to preach - there is no salvation - because there is no gospel - God chooses when - where and how the gospel is presented romans chapter 9
