This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. He moved to the states for college around four years ago. We met in class and instantly fell for each other. The difference in our races created many obstacles for us. All of the song....be it Jashn-e-bahara or Azimo Shah shahenshah or Inn lamhon ke daaman mein....all of them are masterpieces created and this particular song is very very ethereal. It beautifully lays down the feeling of a one sided love and the hope of being loved by the other person some day. Be it the lyrics, the melody, the beat or the picturisation, everything was apt. I think, after this movie, Bajirao Mastani was the only movie that could live up at par with this.
