Watching this video has reminded me that along with the banner stencils I own, I also have a book that teaches how to draw initial letters like in medieval manuscripts. I used to use those with my headers when I first started bullet journaling. I'd forgotten these last couple of years and right now the book is packed away in one of a multitude of boxes as I prepare to move houses. Thank you the reminder. 😊

I have to chuckle a little about the slanted cursive because when I was a kid in 2nd grade, (in the US) about seven years old, it was the standard to write cursive with a forward slant, that's how the teacher taught us in school. I'll just say that was many years ago.

I think this is super satisfying. I remember taking pages of scratch paper and trying to come up with original fonts in 3rd grade when my BFF brought to school a book of all kinds of lettering styles. The book was "Letter Art" from the American Girl Library.

I love the real chunky style you do at 43:00 but I don't understand how you would do an O or an S. Do you have a video where you show that lettering being used with other letters?
