साथ रहो तो सबसे बेहतर मौन रहो आभारी है सत्ता की कविता से केवल इतनी रिश्तेदारी है सारी दुविधा प्रतिशत पर है कितना सच बोला जाए गूँगे सिखा रहे हैं हमको मुँह कितना खोला जाए हक़ के लिए लड़ो मर जाओ जग को बतलाने वाले आत्ममुग्ध बौने स्वराज का परचम फहराने वाले हम को बच्चा समझ रहे हैं ख़ुद को बहलाने वाले शाल ओढ़ कर घी पीते हैं त्यागी कहलाने वाले इतने हलके हैं कहते हैं हमें नहीं तोला जाए गूँगे सिखा रहे हैं हमको मुँह कितना खोला जाए सिंहासन के आगे नतशिर झुके माथ जाने वाले गिरवी जिव्हा से शासक की कुंठा सहलाने वाले पद्म विभूषित हुए जा रहे कोरस में गाने वाले राज द्रोह में बंद पड़े हैं भैरव गुंजाने वाले। करो प्रार्थना राजमहल तक वाणी का शोला जाए गूँगे सिखा रहे हैं हमको मुँह कितना खोला जाए
