@@ericawashington6129 i don’t normally tie the crochet curly pieces, most because I’m lazy lol. I also like the ease of being able just to pull it when it gets frizzy or matted and I haven’t really had an issue with them slipping out either. I definitely see the benefit of knotting it if you want extra security ❤️

Thank you!! I would say about 10-14 days. I didn’t add much product to the twists so mine will probably get puffy soon. Also, since I used crochet hair, the curly pieces will probably be matted soon lol

i can not get the braid to stay tight. so the twists are extra loose at the top. i feel like the rubber band is the solution but idk. i don't want the tension like you said

I don’t usually tuck with twists or braids, I’m lazy lol. The only time I’ve tucked my hair is when I was using colored braiding hair.

This works on your hair but wouldn’t work on a lot of others. Roots wouldn’t look as clean with this method on different hair types.

Shine and Jam is not a good quality gel, it has a lot of chemicals in it (compared to other gels) that can irritate the scalp.
