When you were eating there, snakes in England and Ireland, we would refer to them as jellies are also referred to as jellies in Canada. You seem to call lollies as did Generic term for all candy is what Americans would refer to it, but Irish and British people would refer to it as sweets or sweeties . Lollies to us is on a stick, lollipop, hard or soft sweets on a stick ice lollies also on a stick. If it’s on a stick it’s a lolly. It’s not the general term for sweets. I find this unusual considering Australia’s part of the Commonwealth or Commonwealth countries like Canada would call their sweets pretty much the same as Ireland and England would so I’m surprised it’s different in Australia.

Crunchie is Brit; Violet Crumble is Aussie... We license produce Cadbury in Australia (Tasmania), some things are Australian, some are based on British. Freddo's are originally Aussie. Many of our companies were brought by the U.K and U.S.A, even Japan (solo owned by Asahi) etc. Darrell Lea is the Brand, it's Australian One theory suggests that Rocky Road emerged in Australia around 1853 as a clever way to salvage spoiled ingredients imported from the UK. But the Americans claim it to.

Depending on where Cadbury milk chocolate is made, will determine whether it is good or bad. If it is made in the UK or Canada or Australia, it is made with Coco and two glasses of milk. It’s not bad but you can get much better chocolate. However, if you get Cadburys chocolate from Ireland, well, that’s much better. Cadburys chocolate and Ireland is made with one and a half glasses of Irish milk and half of glass of cream. The chocolate silky taste that rivals Swiss chocolate. The fact that the milk chocolate is made in Ireland with the best dairy produce on planet earth elevates it above and beyond. Irish milk cream butter cheese is purchased all over Europe for its superior quality you put that into the chocolate it makes a difference. The secret to Cadburys chocolate is, where was it made.
