I always come back to this song when I’m having a rough time with mental health. It just sums up my feelings so well. and they will never know, ‘cause they can never know…

[lyrics]~ Take my hand and pull me from the water Help me breathe Hold my face up closer to the surface Let me see And I will be more than what I am now Take me from the water's edge I need to feel released from there If I were you Then I'd be here I tour my world and I change my point of view Oh, pull my heart and I'll let the blood run through The cold and the dark and the places I was drawn to So sweet for me to feel released I found you And they will never know Cause they can never know Oh they will never know what it's like to be Take me from the water Take me from the ocean And I will show you Oh, the sea Stand outside this world I'm watching These times I learn I'm tortured Time will take me, show me what I need And they will never know Cause they can never know Oh they will never know what it's like to be Take me from the water Take me from the ocean And I will show you Oh, the sea [Instrumental] And they will never know Cause they can never know Oh they will never know what it's like to be Take me from the water Take me from the ocean And I will show you Oh, the sea Oh, the sea Oh, the sea Oh, the sea

I need to check out this album on Spotify. I got into bôa three years ago but I have never listened to Blood Red Sun. Thank you for your beautiful music.

My story is pretty close. I got into bôa after watching the anime, Lain. Loved it. Jazmine's 2010 EP is great, as is Blood Red Sun (2016). I love every song on that full disk. I wish she'd release another full album, but hearing and seeing her in this video is great!

Sometimes the artist has not the faintest idea of how impactful their letters are. This one was so deeply linked with my life decisions and a rough darkest time of my past. "They will never know, cause they can never know what's like to be..." was a tantrum when I lost everything I had. Jasmine you are realy important for me, since my teenages. Muita saúde e que os bons ventos sempre te acompanhem. Você é incrível.

For one moment i thought it was the Scott Matthew that did the music for Shortbus. It would have been great to hear my two favorite singer songwriters together

This looks like it was just added to Google Play Music, but it's been out here on KZbin for months now. I don't use KZbin to watch music very much, but this was awesome to see it on video. This is one of my favorite tracks from Blood Red Sun. I just subscribed to you on KZbin, it's unfair how few views this has.
