I had to learn how to mess with my brows later in life. They were always so full and pretty before I had chemo a few years back. Now they are a bit “less than”, but these tips have been a game changer!! With practice, I have gotten good at doing this with my pencil without looking like an angry Martian. Thank you thank you!! ❤

I love your videos. I've learned so much from you about doing the brows correctly. I'm 62 years old and I've struggled with this since I first started wearing makeup as a teenager.

Please do a video about choosing the right color for our brows! Depending of the hair and skin color, what would you choose? I have almost black hair and light to medium olive skin, since I like a natural look I pick brown but sometimes is too warm or too ashy/greenish, sometimes my brow hairs look like floating over what I drew 😂 or it looks too harsh.

I will be posting a video on this very topic! It should go up soon do look out for it! It’s a bit more complex when you have so many different types of skin tones, hair colors and highlights and the amount of brow hairs along with your lifestyles in how much time you’d want to out in your brows!

My Asian brow hair grows downward and i cant find a product stiff enough to hold brushed up
@Jasmines_arch Жыл бұрын
@@midlifemom5829 unfortunately there is no way of getting the hairs to lay differently, partly because the hairs are short, and the growth is dictated underneath the skin. I keep mine just very short!

Eyebrows are the hardest! I shaved my underbrows for a long time, and now, I have very sparse brows. Can’t wait to try your tips. Anastasia Beverly Hills is my fave since my DIL gifted me a kit around 10 yrs ago. I also appreciate that the product is cruelty free, which is extremely important to me. Thank you!

You are stunning! And I'm eternally grateful for your videos. You fixed my brow fiasco today! I'm thankful I came across your videos. 😅 I thought I was amazing at fixing my eyebrows, but you SLAY! I thought I was good at my eyebrow game, but I'll tell you that I'm CERTAIN, you are Queen 👑! ❤ I have done eyebrow mapping and etc., etc. 😵💫. However, your tips and ways of explaivning- including your encouraging words of reassurance for what's normal and expected for mishaps or conformation, illusions, dark vs light are supreme, easy to follow, and make total sense! I look forward to watching more videos. 🎉🎉

This was a great tutorial. I like all of your vids, but this one really helped me to see what I can do to improve my own brows. I was an eyebrow victim of the 70-80s, over tweezed, and trying to fix them. Doesn't help that my hair is curly and so are my brows. Brows are very hard to get right, as you said, and important for your overall face. They are my nightmare, the most time consuming and the most hit or miss. Thank you for passing on your knowledge and expertise.😊

I love your videos because my brows are a disaster! My husband’s job relocated us frequently. That meant whenever I tried finding a new stylist I was usually placed with the newest person who had just graduated beauty school. My eyes were overtweezed and in one instance, a young girl waxed one of my eyebrows in the area closest to the nose so far in that I ended up losing over 1/4” of that brow. Naturally, it never grew back. Now I’m in my mid 60’s and not only deal with that but the uneven shaping and areas with my nearly black eyebrow hairs alongside whitish gray eyebrow hairs. When applying the taupe-y blonde Anastasia pomade shade to my brows (my hair has been changed to a light ash blonde) the pomade does not show the same color on the nearly black hairs as the whitish gray. I don’t know how to shade these hairs to make the brows look the same. I’ve asked the girl at the salon to lighten my brows, uniformly. She’s concerned with doing this so close to my eyes. Do you have any suggestions? I wish I could pop into your salon and would do so but live a few thousand miles from you.
@Jasmines_arch Жыл бұрын
Pomades are the best when you have more skin than brow hair! Because of the creamy texture, the first application can go in quite dark! It’s all about the pressure you apply when using pomades. Try the medium brown pomade and always start at the middle the ends first, this way you start recognizing the pressure your applying so it’s ok if it’s darker towards the end, once you get the hang of it, move towards the front with a light touch and make sure to Combe through with a clean spoolie brush also with a light pressure. Hope this helps

Thank you Jasmine for all these great tips. I’ve been implementing it on me, it makes such a difference. I have a tattooed eye brows , which give it the downward look. can you give tips how to shorten the length of eyebrows? What to do to cover or conceal to make it shorter and give it the upward looks?
@robinmorelli8759 Жыл бұрын
I also have a tattoo and had it removed with the saline solution. What a long, hurtful process! Unfortunately, it's not all removed. I tried everything to conceal.

Because pomades are creamy in texture, choose a color one shade lighter than your normal color pencil

@Jasmines_arch Жыл бұрын
Best pomades for black brows depends on your skin color as well, the best go to is medium brown and if you no highlights with light to medium skin tone with neutral skin tone, then ash brown pomade from Anastasiabeverlyhills.com
