Thank you for this video. I practiced judo for years and never realized that there are such subtile ways to do ukemi. I feel that we in judo fall "hard" compared to aikido.

Thank you for watching. I also feel that way even though I have never practiced judo myself. In aikido there are also many rather "hard" falling techniques that are very similar to those in judo. But I think this soft version is a valuable addition to any ukemi repertoire.
