Jason's songs are incredibly sincere because he sounds as if he means every single word he sings and has personally lived those words in his own life!

Had essentially the EXACT same experience with a woman. This song came on the radio 105.1 kkgo during the 2nd date with an extraordinarily special woman .. everything about this, the blurriness, the touching, the fondling .. It's as if we were being recorded .. her eyes, the smiles, her lips, her feet .. every time ..and boy was that only the start ...... God did something right .. RIP Ange

I think the thing that is so awesome about Jason Aldean as an artist is that even with his commercial success, he has never lost the rough "edge" to his music! So many artists that have success with their first album or two become so over-produced that they essentially are turned into "McMusic" -- but not Jason! On a side note, whoever directed this video got all the subtleties about what drives men crazy about women down to a tee! Just the little ways the actress moves or smiles nails the emotion without being overtly sexual! Extremely well done!!!!

Just my opinion...
@StrengthLegacy9 жыл бұрын
Garrett Tacha It's called country-pop.
@garretttacha86739 жыл бұрын
StrengthLegacy County-pop is not country music. A rich boy singing about places they've never seen, and work they've never done...is not country music. If you honestly think this is country music...then I have lost all faith in humanity. Take a listen to "Fence Post" by Aaron Watson. Now that's country music. And it explains how Nashville lost its country roots. Jason Aldean is a prime example. He has 80 studio released songs........guess how many songs are actually songs he wrote?.........Four songs. He has just enough talent to write 4 songs. That's horrible. He can't even take the time to be original? What a poser
@StrengthLegacy9 жыл бұрын
Garrett Tacha Of course country-pop is not country music. It's a genre with elements of both country and pop music, nothing wrong with that. As far as Jason Aldean goes, I think he's an outstanding singer.

I grew up listening to country and Hip Hop. Country is going thru what Hip Hop did after the 00's. Its getting stripped down and processed into hits. Then when its over saturated with BS it will die. Obviously this crap still sells so until the fans wise'n up corporate will keep feeding you this music cause it sells....But everybody wants to go to a country show and get drunk and ride in a pickup hollering at girls....This will be the music you get till the attitude changes, or till fans realize that their worth more than these junk lyrics and find someone to support.
@weirdalfan4life19 жыл бұрын
Finally someone said it!! Most of my generation needs to learn about country music, the meaning behind it, and about "True" country life. It's not all about Riding in a truck, drinking beer, and "Hollering" at girls. In my opinion, Hollering at girls is plain damn rude as hell. Kids these days need a damn lesson in respect. If you Holler at a girl on the sidewalk here or from your truck,car,ETC, and you stop where she is, You'll have her brother, (If she has one), Her cousins, Her uncles, Her boy friend and her Friends on your ass quicker than a rattle snake can strike. These country boys in north Carolina don't play. Thank you so much for for saying this Mr Mike.
@karatrolinder33809 жыл бұрын
Very well said!! Some are so disrespectful nowdays. What happened to opening doors or even good morning beautiful???
@TheMMSpirit9 жыл бұрын
I rather like the country rock these days. It sounds so much like the 80s rock I grew up with. Country back in the 80s was super boring - honestly! Could it get any slower or have any less energy? Garth Brooks and others, Toby Keith a bit later, you could see country starting to get a little more rock as time went by. And I'm liking it. I think good music is good music, regardless of its genre. Jason Aldean is a great artist.
@garretttacha86739 жыл бұрын
TheMMSpirit I agree with parts of what you said. Garth Brooks is a great country artist, and never varies between the pop culture and country culture. He has always stayed true to the country "with an attitude" genre. Toby Keith on the other hand, is utterly pathetic. His older stuff was good, but now it just sucks. Not to mention he's a complete asshole. I met him when I was a sophomore in high school...I had VIP tickets to spend an hour on the bus with him and just hang out. I was on the bus for 5 minutes, got his autograph and he says "Alright, now you can get the fuck off my bus". Yes, some country has started to get a little more rock in it, like Garth Brooks, and some others, but when it comes to these famous "posers" in the country music scene (Like Florida Georgia Line, Taylor Swift....thank God she's not "country" anymore, Hunter Hayes, and more)....there is no indication of country roots or rock roots in their music. To be of the rock genre, there has to actually be instruments being played. Take Jason Aldean's song "Burnin' It Down"....there are no instruments played. It's all computer generated everything. That isn't rock music and that isn't country music....and nothing in between. That is pop music. Florida Georgia Line is a "boy band"...which is pop music. They don't have any rock sounds, or rock "chords" being played in any of their music. They also don't have any country roots in their music. When I say that country music isn't the way it's supposed to be...I mean it. It doesn't mean that I don't like the "country-rock" sound from some of the artists in the country genre...because I do like a lot of it. I just hate the Pop country bullcrap because there is nothing in that music that sounds anything like rock or country. And by you saying you don't like 70s and 80s country is basically saying you don't like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, Joe Diffie, Hank Jr., Sawyer Brown...etc. In that case....you have no idea what country music is or how it is supposed to sound.
