Jason Aldean hit it out of the stadium tonight in a jury of his peer and fans. Tonight's tribute to Toby was performed with such loving respect and love of heart. Everyone felt this arrangement was perfect for we are all still in a great deal of shock from the loss of such a larger than life American. It was a genius idea to change Should of been a Cowboy to a slower tempo. Everyone was standing, crying, and singing their hearts out. A performance presented with such heart and respect. I was singing so loud to his song. When it ended, the local radio shared the news. I couldn't believe that I was hearing the man I loved listening to had passed away. It was a crazy feeling. I like Jason, but it just didn't do me right.

Toby Keith performed in Australia and my wife and I saw him in Brisbane. He sang "Australian Soldier" in place of 'American Soldier" At the time my Son was serving a 12 year hitch in the Australian Army. My wife and I had tears in our eyes. Fantastic concert. Miss you TK. RIP Brother. Jason Aldean did a wonderful tribute, he has a great voice too. Thank you Jason.

This was an incredible tribute to Toby Keith!! Amazing performance, Jason!! By slowing down the tempo it made “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” into more of a ballad. It was so touching that I cried along with Toby’s family. It must have been hard for Tricia to even go to the Awards ceremony.
