About the Podcast:
BOB SAGET’S HERE FOR YOU is a podcast that is like no other- Because it goes inside Bob’s Saget’s mind, and then quickly filters out through his mouth. Bob has a way of calming people with genuine empathy and humor while they’re going through a difficult time, which we all are at present. Reaching his unusually diverse audience that he talks to as a friend, Bob is the dad with great advice, the irreverent funny guy who’s always there when you need a laugh, and the free-associative Bob who goes off on crazy tangents then returns to the subject at hand, as serious or as comedic as it may be, to wrap up each episode in a way only Bob can do. Because he really does believe, “He’s here for you."

Wow, I never would have recognized Jason. He looks amazing. I like that Jason pointed out the physical comedy of "Kramer". I felt like one of the all time greatest physical comedic actors was John Ritter as "Jack" on Threes Company. He is another talented, kind, & funny man that passed away far too soon. This was fun to watch these two very funny guys. They have a magical connection. Bob is the sweetest man & losing him is a huge loss for the world. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones. 🙏💙R.I.P. Bob💙🙏

Having seen Mr. Alexander in The Producers in LA, I know what quadruple talent threat he is first hand. Singer, dancer, actor and comic genius! This interview was a pure warmth to watch. Mr. Saget you two should work together because if your onstage personas is half as fun and inviting as your off screen charms are - whatever you two did would be no doubt wildly entertaining for a million reasons! Thank you guys! This was fun!

Great interview, highly recommended! Whether you're a fan of Bob Saget, Seinfeld or Jason Alexander check it out. I first heard of Bob back in the '80s when he was doing his hilarious stand-up routine. I didn't find out until watching this video that he's done many other similar videos which are probably just as good or better than this. Rest in peace Bob Saget.

Why didn’t I know about this? Dammit. You know, it always hits home when we lose ppl we cared for. No matter if they were personal friends or not. Media is so powerful. And then we find out how amazing some of these folks are on top of that. But the point is, go out and support these ppl if u love what they do. They won’t be here forever. Bands break up, ppl change, accidents happen and ppl pass away. Don’t wait. Support the joy. RIP Bob

Whatever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paperboy, the evening tv? How did I get delivered here? Somebody tell me please Cause this old world is just really confusing me Clouds as mean as you've ever seen Ain't a bird that knows your tune Then a little voice inside of you whispers "Kid, don't sell your dreams so soon!" Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a heart (there's a heart), a hand to hold onto Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a face (there's a face) of somebody who needs you Whatever happened to the good old days? Talking to friends for hours, swore it'd never go away Now I'm feeling a little crazy, trying to fit in with a scene Cause how do you know where you're going, if you really don't know who you've been? Everybody eventually Says that they're as lost as you So everybody shout it together "Hey, don't sell your dreams so soon!" Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a heart (there's a heart), a hand to hold onto Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a face (there's a face) of somebody who needs you Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There's a heart (there's a heart), a hand to hold onto Everywhere you look When you're lost out there and you're all alone A light is waiting to carry you home Everywhere you look... Sarcasm and facetious self-obsession has diverted a lot of what would have been otherwise constructive social evolution, instead turns into a personalized echo chamber that exacerbates personality dysfunctions. Thoughts and feelings aren't real but now we're culpable for both if they result in someone acting out? That's isn't even reality. Yet its the present. There's been no pumping of breaks, or a breaking down of these constructs so people who may have been thinking they're in an elevator for years, can have a moment to realize they're stuck in a vestibule that they enter and exit ceaselessly without gain, promise, premise, and the result of it has been an entire diversionary tactic manifesting as self-discovery and personal-reason itself. Comedy helps people, if it fits with the times, in a way that helps people realize they have a moment to reflect and sometimes that reflection happens in other ways, because of course it does. However comedy can help people navigate certain aspects of life difficult to contend with or in these times difficult to discuss.

Alas, they’re under a lot of pressure to look young (even the guys), because Hollywood is way behind the curve on stuff like that. To most of us, it’s grotesque, but they live in that world. PS I think calling them “old men” wouldn’t help your case. They’d probably joke that they’re old, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.

"Conservatives are afraid of change?" Come on...that's lame. Saget's follow-up take was good. Comedy evolves as individual people do. But what's actually going on right now isn't that people are "more open-minded" and conservatives are afraid to embrace this...it's that now, if you make the wrong joke (usually the right joke, in fact) someone will try to damage your career in order to make themselves feel morally superior, or to capitalize politically/socially.
@Historian212

Best interview with Jason Alexander out there. Nice to see both these guys looking relaxed and natural. Jason’s looking slimmer than he’s been in a long time. Bad sound levels aside, very enjoyable listen. So wonderful to hear him mention Ben Vereen in Pippin. I’m about Jason’s age, and saw that performance. Vereen was one of the greatest performers of all time. His TV performances don’t begin to highlight his incredible abilities and presence. I was also lucky to see Vereen play Judas in the original Broadway cast of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” I had a girl-crush on him from that day (I was 14 years old). I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to witness and see what pure magic is onstage, and respect JA even more now for invoking Mr. Vereen, gone way too young.
