I met Jason back in 2000 at the premiere for his film just looking and I asked him for his advice for an aspiring filmmaker and six years before KZbin even existed he already saw it coming. He told me just to make a movie and not worry about it was any good or I had Any money to make it just make one and then I would learn how to do it and wanna make more I’ve made 23 independent documentary films and it’s all because of Jason’s encouragement. As far as Jason's role as an actor on Seinfeld, and Curb as well, it's about as much as a service job and an actor's job can be. He throws himself so hard into roles in which his character is such a pathetic dufus, but he goes for it, because it's not about being cool and prestigous, but it serves the story, and it makes people laugh and he does it so beautifully and perfectly.

32:17 This statement by Jay right here is what those pushing DEI don’t get. People don’t have to literally ‘see themselves’ playing a character to buy into it, enjoy something, and be entertained. It just has to be good. Just as these folks enjoyed and were fans of Seinfeld, I was a fan and enjoyed Good Times and Sanford and Son. Even though, I wasn’t represented in these shows. They were just good and I felt something for the characters.
