Hindsight is 20/20...I don't think she really understood the magnitude of having a child with Jason...She was overly confident that Jason/Sonny could protect them...up until she thought she lost Danny when the bar exploded...yes, her father was the reason but at the end of the day her fears took center stage/it opened her eyes to the risk...and like she told him before they broke up...if it was just her then...she was willing to take the risk... Imagine if Danny died because someone was trying to kill Jason... Sam would never forgive herself...in her mind she's protecting her son

Sam was around for all of that and had a front row seat. She helped Jason save them sometimes. She cannot say all of a sudden that she "realized" the danger anew. She knew. Sam literally hired men to terrorize Elizabeth in a park with jake in her arms in an attempt to push her away from Jason. The men then actually kidnapped him. And they almost didn't get him back. And she pretends shes a saint. She lied and slept with Sonny when he was married. Not too mention she cheated on Jax. She started an affair with Lucky even when he married. She stood over Emily's dead body talking shit to Elizabeth because both Lucky and Jason wanted to be with Liz at the time. She hated on Carly for her connection to first Sonny then Jason. She stole and lied and broke into places trying to impress and keep jason and prove to sonny and Jason that she could hang. She wanted Jason something terrible but now look at her. Like she didn't chase the life and man that gave her Danny. Shes been a hypocrite but everyone has always let it slide.

Jake was kidnapped by a woman named Maureen a few weeks before the men tried to scare Liz in the park.Yes Sam watched Jake get kidnapped and hired those men.She owned up to it and apologized to everyone repeatedly throughout the years.She felt she had suffered a mental break,but no one even considered that for her.Despite most of PC prominent residents had claimed a m break when they did something horrible,including Sonny,Ric,Carly,Elizabeth, Alexis.2004 left Sam PC 3 times early in her pregnancy and Jason aren't to get her every time.2005 Sam left Jason and he asked her did she love him enough to come back and she did.2006 he dumped her mere minutes after she woke up from a coma. During this time she slept with her stepfather ;Jason asked her back.They were apart 2007/2008.In 2009 they reunited and again Jason was pursuing Sam.2011 they got married, Sam was made to believe she was raped on her honeymoon by Franco.2012 Sam was pregnant and Heather falsified DNA results saying that Franco was the father.Jason said he wasn't sure if he could live with Franco's child,so they separated. Sam was led to believe her baby had died after being born.Sam and Jason decided to get a divorce.Jason and Spinelli were able to find out that Sam's son was alive.Sam got her son back in Oct 2012.Sam and her son were going home with her mother and sisters.Jason asked Sam to come home with him and he asked her would she let him be Danny's father.She agreed and Jason promised to never leave them and love them forever. Back when they broke jasam up cause of the danger stuff it was jasons life style is too dangerous blah blah.. i totally got that the bombing freaked sam out. However, she had always accepted Jason. Than all of a sudden is not.. so cortisone get over them rewriting that part of their history. Ok fast forward shes with Dante now whos a cop and has a enemies plus sonny is his dad hens same lifestyle that same allowed she couldn’t have her son around.. so writers please explain how there is logic here. Now onto the present i get sam is scared about how danny is like jason but please do not have her change her character more, jasam i believe is endgame and that the love they shared is still there nit just for their child.i hope this whatever the writers are doing gets better. I have waited for carson to come back and i believe that jason and carly will ill figure it out and than we will have the real sonny back. This is not all about Danny it’s about her guilt feelings about pushing Jason out of Danny and her life telling him to leave and don’t come back and when he was presumed dead she got her wish and acted like he never existed. If she wants to be so honest with Danny maybe she should tell him why Jason left the Penthouse and stayed away from him because of her wishes. Or maybe she should just tell him how Jason saved her behind over and over because of her actions even when they were not together or if not for Jason she would never have known he was alive JS let’s just put some of the facts out there and let Danny see just what a dangerous worthless person his dad really is and why he should stay as far away from him as possible. Look girl you got the man of your dreams who by the way would be dead if not for Jason but I guess that doesn’t count because you have yet to thank while you were wailing at him about what a piece of garbage he is and his son now and Scout to mother and play Suzy homemaker with and you don’t even know that Danny feels like you wish he was more like Rocko and you no matter how much you try Dante is not Danny’s father and Danny wants his dad in his life just like you destroyed that safe house when Jason told you that you two couldn’t be together because Cyrus had a hit out on him. Remember how he explained to you it wasn’t fair to the kids to involve them and now that you were parents the kids welfare had to come first remember that or when he and Britt were on the run he sent you home to the kids because if you got caught they would lose both of you. Yes this is the uncaring jerk you maintain is such a danger to his son. Girl chill out and listen to your son and recognize and appreciate him for who he is and what he wants and why. If you don’t you’ll lose him just like the Qs lost Jason and it will have nothing to do with Jason. And last but not least recognize that as you through in Jason’s face you have raised Danny by yourself and then later with Dante’s help of course without Jason in his life to influence him one way or another so where exactly again did he get his wild ways. Sam love your son for who he is and talk to him not at him. Tell him about yourself but wait maybe not because then you might have to tell him how his father helped you become the woman you are today a woman with his money bankrolling you at every point and how when he fought his way back to you and how you divorced him he gave you his penthouse and all the money you lived off of while he was gone and he refused repayment of any of it umma yes your right he doesn’t deserve any place in his sons life he definitely is not father material . So stay on that self righteous high horse with Dante the man who couldn’t wait to bed you on the very night Drew told you Jason died saving him Dr O and Britt from Peter and ultimately responsible for saving Willow’s life because that’s who Jason is. Yes it was really classy of you to deliver that final blow to his heart as you dismissed him by saying you were sorry about a lot of things and yes he understood the message that you are sorry you were ever with him and that he is Danny’s father. I know right and if Danny finds out that his father left because her mother told him to leave and not come back he will be furious and never forgive Sam for it and like you said she doesn’t stop trying to make him be something that he is not and actually listen to him and put his wants and needs above her own she will lose him for good or worse do something that will push him to the mob or a gang all on her own and it will be her fault
