I agree, I can't believe they didn't leave it in there! Good line from Harold that made have been ad lib.. Ohh I wish he put it back in! I was hoping it would be new dayies in the boxset but now I hope these are in there as well.. ;0) Also the other line, didn't seem like Egon had a lot of lines as they went more to Bill and Dan, I guess since was his idea he was letting have all of the lines, but Harold had some golden lines that would have been fun to have been in there the movie. And they all were probably ad lib by Harold.. I go for a 5 hour GB1/GB2 and Afterlife myself.. ;0)

Egon was such a cool character and Harold Raimis a great guy they all had such awesome chemistry together. I find it sad that all these forms of political activism have really kind of took over our beloved movie franchises. My nan always said that "politics" cause division and argument. I watch this video and i just see all kinds of fans enjoying themselves. When you go to the movies as either a fan of a big thing or just a casual audience member, you go to "escape" and have fun.

I was just thinking the same thing!.....Tully was an amazing character in BOTH films (not open for debate, he was...end of) To approach him on the subject tho would go against the mans wishes to be left alone by all media etc so he can concentrate on bringing up his kids after his wife sadly passed away......the man is a legend in many many ways but u gotta respect his choices. ........would be f*****g epic if he even had so much as a 5 second cameo tho!!! 7:16, I was pretty sure that upstairs phone was a match to the 6-line one seen earlier on Janine's desk in the "We Got One!" scene, but it's nice of this closeup to confirm it. (By this point in the movie, Janine's desk phone had become a 20-line phone at the end of the montage, so it could in fact be the same telephone relocated within the story continuity as well as the production recycling it.)

timrob12 my kind of opening for the next movie is Egon dies in an opening battle with a ghost, and then at funeral they decide to disband (a small Easter egg is that his grave says Harold Ramis instead of Egon) then there’s a time lapse of the town slowly going back into chaos until 30 years later, 4 friends are playing video games. Suddenly a shelf starts oozing slime and starts to hover a bit. The kids start to say a few curse words as they grab their ghost procedure kit and run outside. Outside they do whatever they are they are supposed to do in the event of a ghost, then they discuss it’s gone to far. They google Pete Venkman and track him down. Pete says stuff about like “Kids, we’re to old, but you guys aren’t.” Then the movie is kinda about these kid ghostbusters with the originals teaching them

It’s cool that that want to make it in the same vein as the originals, but this is tricky with this amount of time passing. This new film can easily fall into the trap of having too much nostalgia associated with it. Constant throw backs to the older films, reused jokes and scenes. So many reboots/sequels have done this and it just cheapens the final film. I hope they acknowledge what made it funny/great in the first place (the actors) and not retread the same thing for the sake of nostalgia. Just do your own film and let the actors do their thing.

I'm in my 40's Ghostbusters is to me what Star Wars is to a great many others. I have to say when the reboot first started releasing teaser trailers. I had high hopes. I made a very wrong assumption that these ladies were going to be the daughters of the original ghostbusters crew. I thought that idea would be awesome. I would have been very supportive of an all female cast if the film had content and related to the old films.. As more came out it looked pretty bad.. I gave it a fair chance. It was absolutely horrid and completely uninspired. They shit all over the original ghostbusters films. It was an insult. Only a vague shadow of what once was. I walked out after 25mins. I never walked out on a movie before. I'm so excited for #3! It surely will cleanse our palettes after the awful reboot. It would be absolutely perfect if Louis Tully comes back. I've waited a long time for #3. Better late than never. I have such high hopes. I do not think us as fans will be disappointed again.

I feel the same about it. My brother, my first cousin, and I grew up practically worshipping the ghostbusters. We pretended to be the ghostbusters every time we got together for years. We had all the toys, proton packs, traps, all of it. My cousin was born with cerebral palsy, and it’s among his fondest memories, so my brother and I took him to see the 2016 movie. It was one of the greatest disappointments of all time.
