As an all-around skater in terms of athletics and the skating then Yuzaru and Nathan got him by a bit. But when it comes to blade to ice nobody’s better. You would have to look at ice dancers to find skaters who are better when it comes to blade to ice then Jason. And even that is kind of an opinion. There is no single skater that can touch him when it comes to basic skills and that frankly is a fact.

I never think Yuzuru and Nathan got him a bit. Quad jumps are overscored and overvalued. The two skate, but I can never ignore their stiffness in movements. No matter how mild it is. it spoils the mood. Jason is more elastic and fluid. And he's a great storyteller. Even his face and finger tips are so expressive. You can feel the music is in his soul. He's getting better with age. His performances at 2023 US Nationals and Worlds are stunning. He deserves more appreciation and recognition.
