Up and coming American actor, Jason Genao, is currently taking the world by storm. Raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Genao knew he wanted to be an actor since he was nine years old. As a kid, he loved watching movies and reciting the lines alongside the actors and actresses on screen. After a few auditions, Jason booked a guest role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His success continued and landed a role on Netflix's The Get Down as Napoleon. Genao has since starred in the film Logan and the CBS show God Friended Me. Since 2018, Jason stars as Ruby Martniez in Netflix's On My Block. He plays a math genius who often acts as the voice of reason in the group. He is also the face of the 2019 DoSomething.org campaign, Ride & Seek, which advocates for people to buckle up and stay safe while driving on the road. yall cant tell me jason is the best actor on on my block rn. he's able to captivate the audience with different emotions that don't make him look awkward or bad at it at all. when he cries, we cry. when he makes a joke, we laugh. when he gets all flirty, you bet yo ass we get all hyped. like the others are great at acting their personalities for sure, but jasons versatility is amazing. underrated actor, he should get more roles.

@@Joe-rq5cv yes jamal is pne pf my fav characters on the show, but we havent really seen a broad scale of acting emotions. even in the end of s3 (spoiler alert) when brett was acting a sad scene, i just wasn't feeling it. its all up to your preference tho, me personally jason is the best actor on omb so far

I think technically Jazmine's actress is the most experienced. She's pretty good. She's forced to have the obnoxious and goofy personality, but at the same time be sympathetic and relatable. Not easy to pull off. And I think in season 1, her character received so little development, that the character felt like a total throwaway. But in the season 2 and 3, she really pulled this off well.

I can immediately tell a Mexicana from a Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, etc. I can tell by the way the person says the very first word of a sentence. Trust!!! And the words that Mexicans say Island Latinos might say that very same word but the meaning is completely different. Like there's a word Mexicans use and it means cupcake, but when a Puerto Rican says that word it means a woman's private area. So the dialect is 100% completely different.
