I was always pissed they didn’t give Long more snaps. It’s great that he has such a bond with Eagles players, the team, and the city after 2 years. 11.5 sacks, 6 FF’s, and not getting a ton of snaps is fantastic. He pushed Fletch those years too. Love when these guys get together and just talk shit.

Crazy hearing Celek talk about he can't believe he ever took hard hits. That dude was the king of getting smoked while not dropping the pass. Dependability in human form.
@motomedic723 ай бұрын
I think Celek was being modest. He set the bar for future Eagle TEs. And let's remember just exactly who was throwing balls at Gronk and who IS throwing balls at T.K. And this crew session is exactly what people want to see. No suits, no studios, no retakes ... just realshit. And where does one obtain Bird Gang bourbon?
@Orto49563 ай бұрын
I mean yeah theres Gronk and Kelce but I’ve always said Tony G is who I think is the best TE of all time. He never had an elite guy throwing to him, yet he got just about every record.

Awesome insight on guys getting out of the NFL and not keeping up with physical activity. That definitely translates over the military veterans - you get so used to a routine and a certain level of activity that when you get out, if you don't find something physical to do, you can end up on a destructive path. I've been out for 7 years, but still work out every morning 5 days a week.

I think you should all start a masters league in some type of sport and get together monthly to compete. I think it would be fun to keep the members the same, but change the sport. After the sort is selected, document your journey of learning it, developing skills, coming up with strategies, them competing. Talk about what translates, what’s new, how you start from zero, etc. I think it is very important for people to continue to move as they age. There are tons of local leagues in bowling, softball, soccer. In addition, there are lifetime sports like skiing, golf, pickleball. And I think it would be a SUPER idea to go for it in learning an Olympic sport like curling or the skiing shooting event. The Jamaican bobsled movie was so great. I think a podcast of just figuring out the whole curling thing would be awsome.
