This children's home is overseen by one of our key Burmese pastors and his family who we have supported for several years. The children we care for are not only receiving nutritious food, proper clothing, shelter and an education but they are being mentored into a new kind of life- one in which they have influence, a new identity, and love. This home provides the opportunity for these children to have what they need to pursue their dreams of being doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, and military generals for the kingdom of God in Burma.
Living in this home will protect these orphans from the very real dangers facing them everyday.
Education is not available for free to children in Burma, and therefore it is often out of the question for children that rarely make enough money to eat. Without education, these children will not have the tools they need to escape the cycle of poverty that often led to their abandonment.
Orphaned children in Burma are among those who are at high risk of becoming the next human trafficking victims. In this 32 billion dollar a year industry, enslaving more than 27 million people, traffickers often seek to take advantage of those in desperation, offering them promises of protection, education and a better life.
With your help, we are able to continue to protect these children from these deceptive ploys, giving them an opportunity to receive a Christ-centered education in a safe home.

I lived in an orphanage as my dad died and my mother married another person nobody was ready take me so my mothers dad put me in an orphanage i understand the difficulties living there please help if you can . I am 23 now out of the orphanage but still somtimes go there my moms dad address is there with me but will never try to see them and my mom is still there wealthy with kids and husband does not want to see her too , all i know is i was born in the wrong place . But its ok hopefully if we have a rebirth i wish i would be born to a nice lady there at times i sit with old agehome i wonder why these people send their mothers and fathers there because they dont understand their value i do being an orphan when your own mother have ababandoned you please help the orphans

+Daniel 12 computers exist. There are quite a few modern orphanages with Internet access, though generally only for educational purposes. libraries also tend to have computers for public access

Does it matter? Look at all they did for the orphans. They looked pleased with the result. It's not a bad thing that there is a baptismal bath. At the end of the day they were helped out a lot and are smiling.

Honestly, it's very personal for any couple or whoever and there are people who wouldn't be fit to adopt. The process itself can be so long. It would be very difficult.

May I ask why there are NO wall decor. Anywhere you show is so unfriendly. Even Doctors and Dentist have cheap wall decor. It has been proven that pastel colors and calm photos or paintings helps with stress and depression. Not even small personal Thing's were absent. The children loose so much just coming into this world basically alone. Why burden them farther. 😢
