I don't know how Jason Lytle does it. Solo, and with Granddaddy, he consistently constructs melodies that I didn't realise were missing from my life until I hear them. They then become essential.

Never mind the video...just what about, how can a song so sad, be so uplifting? The mark of a true genius songwriter...this song will live on long after we've all done the setting sun thing...

Jason, one of the most underrated artists of the 2000s and 2010s , not sure if he is still working on some projects right now, but this song is timeless in my opinion.

New stuff by my favorite artist. Jason is f-ing brilliant. Can't wait to get the CD when it's out next month. And......I just bought tickets 10 minutes ago to see him live in San Francisco next month as well. I'm kind of stunned that just happened. Yee haw!

There's a lot of wonderful artists around at the moment who carry the same wonderful melodic style and are championed by Lytle. Check out Midlake, John Grant, Django Django, My Morning Jacket, Field Music, Menomena, Grizzly Beat etc

Glen Haig Thought the same thing about ELO's "Here is the News" on the first few listens of this song but had forgotten about it. Will it be 3 full years before Jason's (or Grandaddy's) next album? I hope not.

Are they called anti-records because they don't like selling them? Seriously, what's going on with the vinyl guys? I really want to buy this, I'm chucking my cash at your pre-order yet you keep delaying, get the things pressed already! Also, why the hell can't I embed this video on other sites? Don't you want me to share this promo video?!
