Jason Momoa Talks Conan the Barbarian - Exclusive Interview

James Kleinmann spoke with Jason Momoa about his brand new movie Conan, a remake of the 1982 movie, Conan the Barbarian made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In the interview, James talks with Jason about how he got involved the project, about the stunt work and the CGI in the movie which hits UK cinemas 24th August.
Plot: A powerful Cimmerian warrior, Conan (Jason Momoa) carves a bloody path across the land of Hyboria on a personal vendetta. That soon turns into a an epic battle against evil, for Conan's mortal enemy, Khalar Zym (Stephen Lang), seeks the legendary Mask of Acheron. The artifact will enable Khalar Zym to raise his wife from the dead and achieve immortality for himself, but it will also unleash a malevolent force upon the land, and only Conan and his companions can stop it.

I've read and watched some interviews with Jason and why this guy is so sexy is.... a very rare mixture of masculine look, deep voice with a sort of gentleness he has! The way he looks after his wife in public places, warm and spontaneous love gestures he's not afraid to show her - wow! He's got sort of inside harmony that make other people feel safe in his presence. That's the ideal majority of women look for. Lisa and Jason make a wonderful couple. At least those two are happy (hope so!) :)

the PERFECT Conan! When I 1st saw him in SGA he reminded me of a young Conan. And to have him cast as Conan fits so well! Read some of Howards works for the people who keep calling out about Arnie. The only thing they got right in the 80s movies was his name! Love the movies as a kid but when I 1st read Howards works a few years ago I couldnt believe how much they butchered what Conan was like! Cannot wait for this movie!

I haven't read the book but Jason said somewhere that the character he played became so popular that they work with the director how to make him back to the movie. I live in the country with the tallest men on average and I'm only 1.65cm (5foot and 5 inches). So almost every guy I meet is taller than me. You are correct the haka is from New Zealand and of the Maori culture. I'm sure the hawaiians have their own dance/war dance but the haka is definitely from NZ :)
