No sympathy for O Halloran. Everyone penalised for touching him at Oulton yet he gets away with a torpedo on Sykes at Donington.

You realise he doesn't give out the penalties right?
@rnp1181 Жыл бұрын
@@njirk52 Fully aware. Listening to Stuart Higgs I appreciate what he is saying, but as with any sport, would like to understand the consistency in penalties. I see very little difference to with the incident O Halloran caused at Donington to what he has received.

@@rnp1181 is Higgs the race director?? If he is it was nice hearing him say whoever said they’re trying to make it like formula one with no overtaking doesn’t know what he’s talking about!! It was shakey Byrne!! How many bike races has the race director won??? Think shakey knows what he’s talking about.

I suggest a vote of no confidence in race direction and/or Stuart Higgs at this stage. Getting silly now

He didn't get away with the Donington incident. He had a grid penalty and got 2 penalty points.

J.O always on the deck. 3 different riders and similar situations. The only common denominatior is the Aussie. When you miss the apex check your not being passed. Simples!

100% agree! Even my wife said the same thing this afternoon

I'd have to disagree when it comes to this crash. If you watch this one in slow motion you can see A.I stand the bike up to avoid going in to the back of his brother after some chatter from the front end. J.O was on the racing line following G.I and was taken out. Just unlucky that it clipped his bar. Not much you can do in that situation. As for Oulton I'd say the P.H crash was Hickmans fault but the penalty was ridiculous. Both him and Bridewell should have had a time penalty and that's it. I'd agree that J.O should have been penalized at Donny. At least be consistent with the penalties! I can only see the penalties getting worse due to the amount of incidents we've seen recently and the death of Chrissy Rouse.

Jason O’halloran's fault all day long. Andy Irwin had the spot and was lucky that O’halloran' didn't knock his rear wheel harder.

Should Jason not have yielded a little space there? Seems Andy Irwin was a far way past

The Bridewell collision was the only one of the three where I think JO could not be held at least partially accountable. TB totally misjudged it and just smacked into the side of JO. In the Hickman incident, PH was sufficiently far past that JO should've known he was there. JO cannot reasonably make the case that he was on a "regular line" (which is what the stewards asserted) that involves taking a wide, sweeping entry that relies heavily on nobody trying to overtake there, in order to have penalties assigned to the overtaking rider and claim foul play. In this Irwin incident, JO seemed to assume AI was going to make the apex and neglected to adapt his own line to the continually evolving situation as AI started to run wide. I don't think this is normal; the rider on the outside in many other similar situations would normally stand it up as necessary in order to continue. One obvious example is Marquez vs Lorenzo at Silverstone many years back, when MM divebombed JL into the hairpin. They both stayed on. I can't help but agree that JO is the common denominator and he requires a change in approach if a) BSB is going to continue having overtaking, b) he's not going to lose another championship.
