Sam is the only one who has truly apologized . . . to everyone and, AND put action to the words . . . she has helped Liz, Lucky, saved Jake, Jason, Carly, Sonny, Spinneli, and Port Charles-the poison vials, AND GH-the mechanic with the bomb. Damn straight she deserves an apology. A real one. A full one.

What gets to me is the fact that while he was willing to cover it up if Liz was guilty and probably if Carly was guilty also, but Monica had to handle the consequences. If I could have taken over the writing, Devlin wouldn't have been the crap that he was and him and Sam would have gotten together, while Jason and Liz imploded and Lucky wallowed in his self-pity!

I hated the break up of Jason and Sam and never looked at the segment of 2008, but Oh My God !!!! did the writers ever change Jason's character , he was so blind with the love of his son, that he bought into the BS of that home wreaked, Jee's they make her out to be this Fragile princess, but she is just a user. i hope she gets a taste of her own medicine soon enough. Wow! The men that Sam gave her heart to really did her wrong during this time.Whoever had the writing power then really had it in for Sams' character.The women treated her bad too but they always was forgiven or a excuse was made to explain their actions (lizzzzbeth and Carly).I don't even recognize this Jason,now that was the biggest betrayal of all considering everything Sam did for him and his over needy employer and over needy "best friend"!!!smdh... Fellow GH fans: It is like we have been saying throughout the past few posting of episodes of this 2008 storyline, this is about Jason and his need to be a father. It has nothing to do about a "relationship" with Elizabeth. That so called "relationship" is just a means to an end. The problem is that Jason went about his need to be a father in such a wrong way that it ended up impairing his judgement to perform his job and all that entailed. Jason was so overwhelmed by the love he felt for his son that he lost himself in said feeling and forgot about everything else that mattered to him in his life. He compromised himself over and over up to the point where he lost all focused and perspective and said actions had a lot of devastating consequences for a lot of people that he cared about. That is exactly what Sam warned him about when Jason confronted her about the reasons she had for telling Carly the truth about Jake. The funny thing about the scene where that confrontation took place is that when we looked at Jason after Sam tolf him off his eyes, without a shadow of a doubt, let's know that Jason knew she was right. Especially, when she told him: "how can you even make it work with a woman like Elizabeth, who doesn't understand you, she doesn't understand your life, she doesn't know how to stand by you for the man that you are, Jason is your son who is going to pay the price" (01/11/08). Mostly because, it showed us that Jason cared about Sam's opinion of him and what she thought about him. Unfortunately, later on, we found out that Sam was right. To name a few examples, Michael was shot. Later on, a Mob War began, the Russians attacked Sam, Elizabeth and the children to which Sam had to defend everyone, the Russians kidnapped Jake. Of course, Sam helped Jason to rescue Jake. However, if we analyze all of the above objectively, seriously, GH in 2008 was like entering the twilight zone. Until this day, it is hard to watch this storyline because most of the time Jason was acting so out of character even though people were calling him on it not once but a couple of times and he still chose to ignore them and to ignore his instincts. Up to the point that Jason's actions created such a devastating ripple effect that the people he loved the most ended up paying the consequences. This is exactly what he wanted to avoid his entire life. Wasn't this the reason why he broke up with Sam in 2006. But somehow two (2) years later we have Jason acting all bizarre and willing to go against everything he believed in his entire life. Seriously, who does that. Nobody. The only explanation we were able to come up with is that after the writers created the messy 2007 break up between Jason and Sam they didn't know how to move forward and to keep it interesting. So, they decided to create a whole new mess without taking into consideration, if it made a lot of sense or not, in an effort to creat the building blocks to reunite Jason and Sam. Let's remember that their reunion didn't happen until August 2009. So, it could be infer that the writers decided to use the 2008 mess as part of the road map back to Jason and Sam. Blessed be!

Yeah honestly I'm a Lusam fan and also I think it's because Lucky and Sam officially broke up in 2009 and that's why the writers reunited Jason and Sam in 2009. Because I used to be a Jasam fan but I grew out of it because Lusam is always honest with each other about everything when Jason and Sam weren't together. Because I always like both Jason and Lucky and always being there for Sam but things got messed up when they weren't there for Sam and that's all because of the bad writing that the triangle of Jason/Sam/Lucky because of all the lies from Liz and her moral compass that blamed everything else on them because of her messed up life that is a web of lies.

Barbara Steuterman, he actually NEVER got to spend any time with Jake. All he got was stories and drawings from Liz. It's really ironic, Sam got to spend more time with Jake than Jason did. I swear he didn't suffer enough. And I think this s/l and how he treated Sam is why I was able to embrace BM's Jason so easily.

It truly breaks my heart ❤️ and also makes me so angry 😠 how Jason is so concerned more if lizard could possibly be the person who hit Sam rather than Sam actually being hit and almost dying. The writers/producers really screwed up big time, it’s one thing to have Jason and Sam broken up, but it’s totally another story that he doesn’t give 2 craps!!

What he says about Sam and Lucky's involvement with her @1:43-. . . was he really so much of a bastard that he couldn't apply the same reasoning to himself with Liz? Talk about someone being seriously messed up in the head from an involvement. Did he ever tell the truth or act right for the short time they were together?

From watching NO! He was all about Liz and Sam be damned. Hell he even gave Robin credit for saving his life, when it was Sam that contacted her. And if we are being honest Robin's treatment didn't work, in fact in almost killed him. But he tells Robin if it wasn't for her he would have died!

SB wanted Liason and Guza was giving him everything he wanted by destroying Jasam especially Sam. He turned their characters inside out where they was unrecognizable so different from who they really was but his main focus was annihilating Sam's character to the point where Jason would never would've wanted Sam back, he had her doing terrible things where she was seen as a vindictive b**ch who would put a child's life in danger bc she was jealous of Jason having a baby with Liz.He pitted Sam against Liz where Jason always sided with Liz even in 06' when he was still with Sam he felt everytime they had words he felt he had to apologize to Liz for what he thought Sam might have said to her. SB Jason always took Liz's side the only time (Jason) sided with Sam was when (BM) was playing NuJason understand he wasn't really Jason bc SB Jason never would've told Liz off & spoken to her like (BM) Jason did nor apologize to Sam even if Liz was in the wrong.When Jake was killed off in 2011 Liason fans was livid bc they felt that Guza had ended the only connection between Jason & Liz & without him there would be no romantic future for Liason in the future but in a interview with Tv Guide he explained that a tragedy like killing Jake off would bring Jason & Liz closer & how they'll be spending alot more time together so Guza wrote the 2012 s/l of Jason & Sam's separation for Liason not Sam & McBain even Liason fans thought they were getting back together bc Jason spent more time with Liz than Sam in 2012 they wasn't reunited again until it was close to SB exit date. During the 06'-08 debacle of destroying Jasam the only reason Jasam were united in 09' was bc of Brian Frons Head of ABC Daytime no one else.
