She'd have a hard time about it but she wouldn't have done those terrible things. I blame Jason for the breakup in 07. B ut I blame Alexis because she put ALL of this into motion.

What gave her the right to butt in jasam's relationship and to top all off did he really truly think he was sparing Sam any pain by not telling her the truth about Jake? I mean come on, Sam did give Jason a hint that she knew by saying "you have a choice to stay with a star or the mother of your child" think about that statement Jas, think about it what mother could she be talking about and through her drunken blabber she couldn't believe that Jason stayed when if in honesty the truth could be told maybe he really wanted to be with Elizabeth....

A lot of ppl keep saying that Sam should've just left including me but that wasn't Guza intentions he wanted Liason to be a pairing for good but he knew Jasam had a huge strong opinionated fan base & wanted them back together he went all out on assassinating Sam's character Guza knew the only way to keep Jasam apart for good was to destroy them especially Sam & the only reason Jasam were reunited was bc of higher upper executive Brian Frons not Guza. I said he could've let Sam walk away like Robin & Courtney did but no he made her a full fledge vindictive jealous person for nothing. SMH

After witnessing this Jason should have been man enough to speak the truth but he chose to keep on lying. Along with Elizabeth, Jason also set everything in motion that let to Sam's breakdown that didn't allow her to react appropriately when Jake was taken and that made her do the things she did. People usually think that it is simple to deal with lies, betrayal and a broken heart but when the person that you love and trust the most have done to you what Jason did to Sam after she gave Jason her everything. Let's think about that for a second, about what that everything meant, she gave him his life back when he was dying, Jason nis alive and well because of Sam, she helped him with Michael, she helped Jason when he didn't remember who he was, she loved him unconditionally, she accepted him the same way and in return she received lies, betrayal and broken promises. Let's be honest anyone of us would have a meltdown. The difference would have been what kind and the degree of it, but most likely it would have happened. It even happened to Elizabeth when she was caught cheating on Lucky with Nicholas and she found out she was pregnant again and didn't know who the father of the baby was again. She ended up in Shadybrookes. So, who is anyone to pass judgement on Sam after the pack of lies and such huge betrayal. This is beyond anyone's understanding Jason the one who never lies, the one who never cheats, the one who hates betrayal and kills if he finds out he is been betrayed. Now, he has become all of that and everybody expected Sam to receive all of that with a sound mind and to remain cool, calm and collected. Sure because that would have been a normal reaction? Seriously? Throughout this entire storyline both Jason and Elizabeth are ridiculously wrong that we are left without words to describe them. But more than Elizabeth, Jason was so wrong at so many levels, it was like watching a different character in an alternate universe. Not because of the actor's performance but because of the character's actions which were totally unnecessary, uncalled for and at times borderline idiotic without context or reason to be. Anyway, Jason's character lost his integrity during this entire storyline because he went against his entire belief system which is the moral compass he have always used his entire life until this storyline. It is very hard to buy and to believe that someone like Jason would put aside the very essence of what defines him just because he became a Dad. If you think about it objectively it is even laughable and ridiculous because it is beyond unbelievable for Jason to act like such a hypocrite. Jason was supposed to be that character that will never put aside his core beliefs and suddenly he did. This was just plain bad and lazy writing. Plain and simple.

He was always so distant with her. I didn't know if it was because he wanted Liz, or because he felt bad that he was lying to her everyday.... I just wish he had told the truth, they would have made it through.... I do like however that Sam became her own person after the breakup and it only took 2 years for them to get back together and they went strong from 09 until he "died" in 2012! I can't wait for the 2018 JaSam reunion!!

Wow. I dont have words for the writers. They have totally screwed with Jason and Sam's core values and asked us to accept this. How many times did Jason get angry with Robin for deciding for him. Robin asked Sonny to fire Jason and then out of jealousy she told AJ that he was Michaels father. After those experiences it's hard to believe that Jason while Sam is still recovering would just walk away from her without giving her a choice. Which is where all of this started. But knowing that he would be leaving Sam with someone who has caused her such pain in the past ( the loss of her daughter, Danny, and defending Manny). But after Months and Months of begging Jason to take her back he walked away from her each time even when he knew he was hurting her, even when he saw how vulnerable Sam was. After making that mistake and seeing what the consequences led to. You both choose to find your way back to each other and one of the things you decide is to 1. Not lie to each other 2. Jason told Sam that he loves her and doesn't want to loose her, that even if he turns out to be the father of Elizabeth baby they will work it out together. But the moment he learns that he is a father he stopped trying with Sam. Sam became an obligation not someone he was in love with. Jason kept sneaking behind Sam's back and Meeting with Elizabeth, he chose to ultimately lie to her about his son. He emotionally pulled away from Sam, but was physically sleeping with her, telling her what she wanted to hear. It was like Jason walked away from Sam a second time but this time it was worse because he was just going through the motions with her. The other part that's upsetting, Spinelli was suppose to be Sam's friend as well and he betrayed her trust as well. He changed loyalties to Elizabeth like that. Can we really be suprised that Sam lost herself. She was being hurt the most by the people she trusted and thought loved her. Just like how she grew up Kicking herself for letting her guard down and trusting Jason,and Spinelli just so they can hurt her this bad. Sam gave Jason all of herself and loved him unconditionally and he took that love and then threw it back in her face with each lie, and each betrayal.

I believe that Jason was a low down dirty so&so bc the moment Liz told Jason she was pregnant he left Sam emotionally everyone says Jason tells the truth.Truth is Jason could have told Sam he didn't regret sleeping with Liz,that he wanted to be the father,that he asked Liz to marry him when she said she was pregnant& the only reason he stayed with her is Liz lied about the paternity,& when he did found out he was the father he still didn't tell Sam bc he loved Liz & lied bc Liz asked him to.

But I agree that Jason should have been honest, he should gave trusted Sam, even if it hurts her or he left her, honesty was the only policy here because trusting Elizabeth over Sam was dead wrong, Elizabeth lied every opportunity she got and only cared about herself and her image.
