Wow. Sonny gave Sam some really GREAT advice. I'm super impressed, but Sonny was pretty much a Jasam fan for a long time!! Oh, if only Jasam could have had joint custody of Jake, but Liz wouldn't have that.

I agree, with most of what you said... but what mess did Jason make that Michael had to pay for? Jason was a great Father to MIchael, up until Robin decided he shouldn't be, Carly took the kid to live with the Qs and then Sonny stole him completely!

Brooke Rhinesmith I disagree, b/c I think that A.J. was 100% responsible for kidnapping MIchael - he was mad at Carson, but he was wrong regardless. Jason did not steal Michael. A.J. AND Tony threatened to take Carly's unborn child. Maybe you think that Carly (instead of A.J.) should have been Completely shut out of her child's life, b/c THAT is what A.J. wanted. Carly gave birth to Michael, after carrying him inside her body... A.J. the guy she had a ONS with was not a Father, pretty much just a sperm donor. Many a woman raises her child with a Step father, etc. Kids get adopted. That doesn't make a parent like Jason less of a father, b/c Michael wasn't biologically his.

Ok. I agree that Sonny FORCED A.J. to give up his rights. Jason wouldn't have done that... he gave up his partial custody of Michael, so Michael could have two parents. Jason did admit he was wrong, but I still don't agree that he "stole" Michael. Carly lied. Fact. A.J. assumed that Jason was Michael's father b/c of the blood type. Jason didn't change any paternity test or lie to A.J. and say that he was Michael's biological father. Jason signed for Michael to have surgery right after he was born and then Took care of him, when Carly had PPD. He didn't steal Michael from A.J. b/c Carly wanted Jason to raise her son. Many a woman gets married, or has a boyfriend that raises her child rather than the bio dad. Also, Carly hadn't done Anything (that I recall) to Tony when HE threatened to take her unborn child. Not saying that Carly was a good mother, but it was her choice leave her child with Jason - and Jason did Believe he was doing the right thing. I said Carly was carrying Michael, b/c it would have also been her choice if she hadmwanted to put Michael up for adoption or get an abortion - A.J. wouldn't have a say.

Brooke Rhinesmith Exactly right. Jason wasn't Jake's father, Lucky was! Contributing your DNA does not make you a Father. Michael didn't "belong" to A.J.
