Jason was protecting his child. Elizabeth was manipulating a situation. She didn't want Jason raising their son UNLESS it was with her. Lucky and Sam both would have stood by them and loved Jake if they had just been honest. But that wasn't what she wanted. She had no problem with him being near his son when they were sneaking around behind everyone's backs and ESPECIALLY after Jason saved Sam from Jerry.

Jason never made sam shut up because he knows she is telling the truth it was all liz I lies that caused all the trouble. even after all that and he told lucky about jake he still didn't get to be the father. so he picked the wrong women to be with. he never looked happy with liz. Sam is the only one he was happy with.

Yes they were trying to protect their son but the way they went about it was wrong. Jason lying to Sam and Liz lying to Lucky. They claim to love these people yet they are perfectly fine with hurting and lying to them. That is not love and now they want to blame everyone else. They need to act like adults and accept the consequences for their choices. They made their beds and now they need to suck it up and lie in them.

Lucky was wrong. Elizabeth did not want Jason to claim his son. She wanted things to stay the way they were. She wanted to keep her children safe, but she wanted Jason to love her from afar.

See the whole she lied to proctect Lucky was not the truth. Lucky was willing to qalk away she went after him and asked him to marry her, because she likes to have her cake and eat it too. Sam was right, Liz was waiting to get Sam out of the way so she can be with Jason. And for Jason to say that she lied on the stand so that Jake wouldnt have a father in jail is just stupid since Jake and everyone was never to know that Jason was his father so him being in jail made no difference!!

I don't see why everyone hated Jason and Elizabeth. They were trying to do what ANY parents would do...keep their child as safe as possible. Jake would be safer as Lucky's son because he wouldn't be a target for Jason's enemies. Plus DRUG ADDICT Lucky would have "fallen off the wagon" if he had known the truth. ANYBODY would go back to drugs if they found out that the son they thought was theirs really wasn't.
