I'm not positive about the decisionmaking timeline, but the reason that scene ends the 2nd one is because it had originally ended with him telling the Russian girl about her parents, and apparently test audiences thought it was too much of a downer ending, so they tacked on the Landy scene.

@hakunadamattaАй бұрын

@johndicks819Ай бұрын
Actually I think the point is that I'm coming back to the office makes the escape easier, I think a lot of people miss that these scenes aren't happening instantly as we see them they have to make their way back to the office in the middle of Manhattan which is not super easy to get there faster than most people because they have police cars but this still gives plenty of time for Jason to get the f*** out, especially since he already had his route out of the building and away probably planned. People forget that he has very risky ways of moving people because he's working against the CIA who needs a very very credible reason to move that many people. I think it works well even though it's not 100% realistic it makes sense to a degree Jason just has to be fast and know where to move he has to know what exit to get to out of the office as soon as possible within 3 minutes he could probably be out of that office and down the steps somewhere that's a lot of time if you're constantly moving. I know that moving throughout my day I constantly am baffled by how long it takes to get from place to place when you are driving a car but when you move on foot and you're only trying to move in or out of a building it's actually relatively quick you're out of that office and down the steps within 2 minutes and 30 seconds. From how high it was I don't think he's down all the steps but then all the officers have to go and check the different stairwells and not everybody in that building is privy or has the clearance to know what's going on so they probably only have like 10 guys Max that can be looking for born right now and by the time they get that call they're looking in the office then they have to go look for the exits by the time they're looking for the exits he's already out the door and on the street where you can blend in easily and get the f*** out those people are still driving back and would not be back within 10 to 15 minutes so he is 10 to 15 minutes before the mobile Cruise get the f*** out and before they can officially stabilize a four block perimeter, and a four block perimeter still wouldn't work very well because there are going to be gaps in a place like New York you're not going to be able to have enough people to completely corral four blocks if you only have access to a group of secret agents that are directly on call in your New York area which is not normal since your operations are based outside of the country because that's the definition of your agency you're not supposed to touch Americans.
