When he thought the perternity test said that the baby was Lucky's and he was off the hook as far as being the father her went right back to Sam... He even said it to Sam when he was helping her after she escaped police custody That everything changed when the test proved the baby was Lucky's, and he was there with/ for her (SAM) meaning SHE was where Jason wanted to be. NOT LIZ

It's so telling that Jason just was not that into Liz. The baby made him feel something. The most telling example was before Jake's paternity results came in. Elizabeth said it best "she didn't want him to be with her out of obligation when he was in love with Sam." Everyone keeps saying Jason & Liz felt something it was just dormant. No it wasn't. Jason barely spoke to her after Courtney except when it involved something he was working on or someone in the hospital. Yes he showed concern for her but there's a fine line between being in love and being a decent human being. Liz on the other hand kept seeking Jason, for everything. I lost count on how many times Liz watched Jasam with hawk eyes. This is not even the most telling conversation Jason & Liz had about their "relationship".

There’s more than one kind of love but Jason has never been “in love” with her. The part that makes me mad is that Jason is not blinded by Elizabeth and he doesn’t excuse the mean, untrue things she said to Courtney. Jason does take advantage of Elizabeth!!! Glad I'm not the only one here that notices the only times that Jason ever turns his attention to her is when he needs to even the score between him and Sam. Hell, if Jason really wanted to sleep with Elizabeth then he has had plenty of chances and she would have been more than willing to oblige but when he finally does it's because he's heartbroken over seeing Sam with Ric, he's totally wasted, and Elizabeth was there! And Jason was not planning on that being more than a one time thing. Then when he was jealous about Sam and McBain kissing, he kissed Elizabeth. However, it's just as Carly says... Jason may confide and even kiss Elizabeth from time to time but he's in love with Sam.

Jason never married Robin, but he definitely loved her, and maintained a special place in his heart for her. He did fall in love with Elizabeth later and tells her so over and over. He has always been very protective of her. And he asks her to marry him. He tells Spinelli in a scene that he has always wanted Elizabeth. He also threatened Sam to leave her alone or he'd kill her. Wow! Did you hear that!! He jumped Carly out big time for bad mouthing Elizabeth. He may have married Courtney, but it took him no time for to be done with her and shut her down when she tried. I don't know why it's got to be a soap opera competition! But to say he never loved Elizabeth, is just major denial, or blind perception to rewrite the whole storyline of their love, and the long history between them.

Thank you Angie. Just came across this scene. Jason not only loved Elizabeth he was in love with her as well. The writers broke them up. Steve Burton even said that their live story would have been the best. Not with, Sam, Courtney, Robin and definitely not Carly. They really messed up when they broke Jason and Elizabeth up. He never looked at any of them in that special way that he looked at Elizabeth.

I don’t know how much clearer Jason could possibly be about his side of what happened between he & Elizabeth. He cared about her, thought there was the possibility for more but it didn’t work out. More importantly, he flat out says he wasn’t in love with Elizabeth and that he wasn’t “stolen,” from anyone by anyone else because he’s a person and not property. This also shows that the seriousness of the relationship (a term I use quite loosely) Jason and Elizabeth had wasn’t at all serious to him; it’s only in Elizabeth’s mind that the two of them shared a deep, unique, strong connection. In truth, Elizabeth and Jason got their major flirt on, hung out at her studio where they made out a couple times, and in Oct. of 2002, they officially dated for a total of three days before she ended it, told him they’d never have any future, and left him.

Puppy LUST, is all it was. No real substance. Not a grownup love. He went to her because that is what friends do. They were friends with benefits. Nothing more. What are you talking about? Jason got his memories back in 2012? Do you mean 2015? Because Jason had his memories in 2012. However, saying that Jason isn't with Elizabeth because he didn't want to put her in danger but also trying to say that he loved her enough to propose are contradictory. Jason has never been with anyone because he didn't care for their safety and was okay with his job putting them in danger. That is not who Jason is as a person and the only time when he wasn't being true to the person he is was when he was with Elizabeth. Out of all the women that Jason has been with... the only person that changed Jason into a lying, dangerous, cruel man was Elizabeth. I've been a fan of Jason's since I first started watching and the only time since then that I could not stand the person he was or how he was behaving was when he was with Elizabeth... and it is a hell of a coincidence that after he ended things with Elizabeth that he started acting like the guy I loved again. I don't remember the courtship or the ins & outs of Journey I can't speak for them. However, I can speak for Jasam when I say. Elizabeth wasn't even a dot in a line of worry for Sam UNTIL she got knocked up (and it wasn't even about Liz but rather because Sam couldn't have Jason's baby). Sam was initially concerned about Courtney & most definitely annoyed by Carly's inability to interrupt. When Jasam were together there was no side eyeing other women because Sam always knew where she stood.

I watched the Liason story, the Journey story, and JaSam story from start to finish or from start until nowadays, I wanted Jason to fall for Elizabeth but it didn’t happen. I know the minute I knew it which was when she slept with Zander and Jason saw but he just walked away like it was no big deal. I knew from the lack of reaction that he was not even sort of falling for that girl. He didn’t even have any problems with getting over her after the break up and I realized that Jason just was not interested in Elizabeth as much as even he originally thought. She is the mother of one of his children but Elizabeth has never been the woman Jason loves.

I don't think he was in love with her. Jason seems to have a tendency to develop feelings for women when there are children involved. Remember with Carly and Michael. He was never attracted to Carly but because of Michael and giving him up, he began to feel the loneliness and wanted to feel that family vibe again so he started to have feelings for Carly, which she screwed up thank God! I think it's the same with Elizabeth, it's that family vibe thing he's in love with, not the actual woman. He did the same thing again with Sam, when she was pregnant with Sonny's child. He's trying to relive that feeling when he was Michael's father.
