Amazing, I dont know how I found this channel but I'm so glad I did. Brother Walker is so anointed. Not trying to be out of order but can someone tell me why no instruments(not that its needed with his gift). I just wanted to know if it's scripture. Thank you

Deborah B the church of Christ doesn't believe in using instruments because there is no example of it in the New Testament church in the Bible. Some churches of Christ don't agree with handclapping or bass mic during worship because technically it counts as an instrument musically speaking, however, some believe that it's okay. If we truly be honest. The music is for us because it sounds good,but Jesus thinks I sounds better this way,so since worship is to him,we do it the way ,so that he's pleased!😄

First we have to understand that SINGING is just ONE of the FIVE acts of worship according to scripture. Ephesians 5:19 Colossians 3:16 Tells of HOW we are to sing as well as the KIND OF SONGS THAT'S ACCEPTED IN WORSHIP TO GOD. The Church Of Christ does have music. WE HAVE ACAPPELLA MUSIC. Music as you're thinking ; INSTRUMENTS were COMMANDED to be used under the Old Testament.
