Typing this on the anniversary of Nujabes' death. This cover is still one of my favourites ever, and I'm happy that more than ten years later and Nujabes' music still plays a huge role in my life. RIP Nujabes, and thank you Jason for ever having created this cover all those years ago!

I’m really shocked to admit that in December 2010, I was months into my first year of high school and it wasn’t until shortly after Nujabes passed that I had the privilege of discovering his music. Jason, your video also proved to me how much more I could’ve done with a violin. 😊 Every once in a while, I’ll come across this again even 13, 14 years later. Nujabes’ music was incredibly grounding for me through high school, college, and grad school - especially getting to see Shing02 at the tribute concerts twice now. Super grateful for this tribute medley in particular and the way that it can bring me back to some really amazing, pivotal moments in my life!

i have a friend who put nujabes song "feather" on his myspace page about 4 years back. about a week later he died in a car accident. i still go to his page from time to time and that is still the song that plays. and then the last line of the song says "this will be the day that i die"....that shit right there....that shit...right there. it almost puts me in tears. like it was destined or some shit. i don't know what's up there but i hope in heaven. good job on this.
