Thanks man, I'm brazilian Dj and I wanna work onboard. I started study and look for this type of content to knows how I can get there, and your video help me and give another vision about a lot of things, I will watch othe times, and watch others. I liked when you talk about practice and refine our skills, when you said "I dont care how many events you're have a done" it's perfect to my, because I played in some night clubs in Brazil, and I like to really knows what I'm doing, what I need to do if I have some problem, and it happens, you know, it's doesn't only about to play music, it's about to resolve some problem sometimes, but when we practice and study, we can resolve all this things. Thank you much to post this video. God blass you!

With the equipment side of things, beyond the essentials (sound, decks mics etc), which extras does SCE most frequently add on for clients? And which items represent the best return on investment? For me it had always been lighting, but the most notable trend we have seennin 2022 is fewer and fewer couples wanting any lighting, in fact many will leave the house lights on all night. To counter this we've been looking to expand our offerings, but finding it difficult to make a distinction between what I think would be cool, and what will clients regularly see as a valuable addition to my service, without getting too far outside my swim lane.

Depends on the area in we are working. Lighting will always be number one, if people are not interested in it, you have to switch things up and change the look, or expand on what you have. Media - Always a hit Photo booths - always a hit. Theatrics, Sparks, Clouds, Snow Live fusion - Live elements twisted into the DJ show. just a few.

Great video, what turntables and mixer do you normally use? Thanks
@Jason_Jani Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I prefer CDJ3000s or Rane 12s and a S11 mixer.. If I am using Turntables, - I prefer 1200's with Phase.

So what do you think a new DJ in 2023 should charge?
@Jason_Jani Жыл бұрын
It depends on a number of things, where you live, what it costs you to work, how good you are and how much opportunity is around you.
