how do you enter your charitable contribution if you take the standard deduction? I understand in 2021 you can deduct up to $300(single). Should I enter $ 300 in line 12b and include a receipt? Thank you for your response.

Cash contributions up to $300 per taxpayer can be deducted if you use the standard deduction on line 12b. Receipts don't have to be submitted with the tax return, but you should keep the receipts for your records in the event of an IRS audit.
