Honestly, both of them look different than 2 of these caps that I bought in the Gucci store in Wien this year. 1. the back IS a little bit square shaped 2. there is no text in the buckle 3. Tags inside the cap are not black, but light brown (even on the black cap). So Gucci either changed the design, or are selling different looking caps in the US (or wherever you're from) or both of them are fake.

The authentic hat isn't made of cheap materials, polyamide is a durable engineering plastic material and more expensive than twill cloth. Way more durable than leather and not often used in clothing or hats at all

It's definitely inflated price for the real, yes I think the caps are a little expensive, atm in 🇬🇧 they're £240, wouldn't mind £180 but it is what it is. I just don't believe in wearing fakes, for so many reason's but mainly cause it doesn't give me the same experience, I like little details, see like the fake it had so many discrepancies that puts me off. Plus shop smart and on sales, I never pay retail prices...😄

I think Gucci is worth it at least in my opinion. Gucci uses really cheap materials but they use more “work force” to enhance those materials and make them more durable... like if you buy a wallet, if it’s canvas then it’s just plastic with some little pleather leather for details or in older cases then real leather. Unfortunately the brand has lost a lot of the craftsmanship it used to have. Clothing is still ok in some cases, better couture or higher of course... for hats I would say hermes is better, although of course more expensive. But if you just want a good cap then just go to a handmade store and it will be cheaper than paying for the Gucci name brand and better quality... if you like the look, then that’s something different, so buy whatever makes you happy but again, if you want quality then for caos Gucci isn’t an option.

Gucci’s uses really cheap materials that latter they enhance to make them more durable... just look at their canvas wallets... it’s just like LV canvas... plastic and almost no leather... again they take something cheap and they enhance it... for better materials just choose hermes or Chanel, simple as that. Clothing is still ok... of course couture is better as it should be but you just pay the brands name... not the materials... neither the artisan work, because these caps aren’t purely handmade.
