I normally prefer a Jordan 3 over a 4 but for me anyway I have to pick the Black cat 4. The BC3 has too much going on and I don’t like the patient leather or the plastic looking elephant print too. The 3 could have been a far superior shoe if they had used different materials and no glossy finishes.

3s over 4s all day. I dont hate 4s at all but i prefer the silhouette of the 3s more, its cleaner without the netting and plastic wing tabs. For me the 3 is also much more comfortable on feet, the 4s are tighter in toebox for me. I will say the 4s do have a more noticeable and more comfortable arch than the 3s which i really like but im always going AJ3 over AJ4.

I bought and returned the black cat 4 also when they came out. Didn't like the Jumpman logo at the back and the nubuck instead of plastic at the lace triangle (for lack of a better term) at the top of the tongue. The 3s look WAY better than the 4s. Maybe if they had patent leather on the toe piece and had a shiny black plastic triangle instead of the nubuck and gloss black midsole.
