Hi Jason, the imagination of our modeling worlds is a wonderful thing, if reality could only be as peaceful. Great build happening here! I’ve learned that it is all in the painting techniques that bring our models into fruition, whether your scratch building, kitbashing or just building a standard kit, paint is the key! Nice job Jason, you’ve mastered it all.

Rather than late at night, I start early (1 to 2am). Have a couple of small kits from FOS and some others from some place called Jason Jensen Trains. Going to kit bash mine to be side by side and will most like narrow to fit the space I have for them. Whatever is left over, will be more simple structures for? Two suggestions, one when filing the nubs. I have a small block with fine sandpaper or emery paper attached. I get a more even edge. The other suggestion, when sponge painting, have a small sponge with a sharp edge for getting into those small spaces. I'm constantly learning from you, Thank You.

I love the little kitbashed building. And your pier scene is awesome. When you first mentioned stairs coming down behind the buildings I was thinking some rusty, metal contraption. Then you showed the ones done in concrete, that will be great!

Some great "old school" kitbashing there Jason... Props for not enlisting your laser to aid the first structure mods. I would have just designed a new front and rear wall and laser cut them on the laser. I've gotten lazy since buying my laser years ago. Even going so far as to redesign elements of a purchased kit, to better conform to my preferences for construction, though I don't often buy kits these days.

Jason, another great build. I love the way you can look at a kit, and go, hey, I want it to be different, and then work through and just do it. The colours and techniques are amazing. Hi Jason. Nice builds and video. Very good. One question. On the kitbashed 2 story structure the upper level has a garage type door like the lower section. Will it have a platform of sorts in front of the door? Seems like a danger area if door is opened. But looks great.

@JasonJensenTrains9 күн бұрын
@@jamespatterson2589 No I don’t, but Ammo makes a clear gloss paint that you can use on acrylic. Thanks for watching!
@AirwolfCrazy8 күн бұрын
For stained glass you can find images of existing church windows or even medieval manuscript images. Whichever images you want to use can be resized in the computer and then printed on overhead transparency film. Cut out and glue into the window frame with Micro Crystal Clear. When the church is lighted from the inside the stained glass should show very nicely.

I wanted to tell you that awhile back I said I was going to buy & build two of your kits. The news stand and the anniversary block long kit. Well I haven't saved up quite enough money yet and lo and behold, my daughter bought them for me. Well her and her brother, great kids. So in a couple of weeks I'll be diving in. We are waiting for the pillars. I'm so happy to try to build one of your kits, never built anything like them. Keep on keeping on , your stuff is great.
