Call me by your name is the movie which made me want to come out and be myself before it's too late When I first watched this movie I was very very uncomfortable with anything that had to do with who I was and how the world saw me, I was in the closet without anyone to turn to while I knew I wasn't what everyone was telling me I was. By then I knew that I wasn't this cis straight girl everyone was expecting me to be, but I wasn't sure about anything about who I was if I wasn't that, was I non binary? Was I a guy? Did I just want to be more masculine? Did I want to be someone else? Was I into guys, girls, non binary people, both, neither or did I not care? I watched call me by your name during a 12 hour long flight and when I finished it I was determined to find myself and come out as someone who I could like to be and eventually even grow to love, So that Christmas break I tried to come out to my family for the first time, it didn't go so well at the time, but it has gotten better since. That was almost two and a half years ago, since then I have seen the movie many more times, I've come out as a trans (non-binary) guy who is gay-pan and my family is slowly adjusting to the idea ^^ I am writing a story that's heavily inspired by call me by your name, I am starting hormones this year and I am starting college next year together with my lovely boyfriend. I am growing more cofident and comfortable everyday while Call me by your name still manages to brea my heart a little every time I watch it or listen to the audio book. My boyfriend often gets annoyed by my Fanboying over Timothy and Armie but secretly they think of the two boys as pretty too :P Long story short: Call me by your name gave me the courage to let the world know my name ^^

@superiorbeing It took me 4 years to come to terms with what gender I want to present myself as and I am still not that sure sometimes, Which can be both scary but at the same time it's nice that we don't have to pick, we can take however long we want to find ourselves, and we can change how we identify if we were to wish. We will be the same person to the core, but we've grown into someone we hopefully can love more with every passing day. No matter who we find ourself to be, there'll be people who like and dislike it, but know that no matter who you want to be there'll people who accept ya, and if you can't find them then I'll be here with open arms to hug you, accept you and support you ♡
