The only driver that has the potential to challenge Tanak for the next 4-5 years is Rovanpera.. He is a very talented young man and when he adapts well in the WRC category, he is gonna be a big force. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of talented drivers already, both in WRC and WRC2, but Tanak seems like he is in another level in terms of speed.
@sinitiivakene49045 жыл бұрын
You forget that Oliver Solberg is coming too! But both of them are very young and have to learn couple of years untill they are ready to fight on top level. Tänak is born to be quick. He has always been from the first moment he sit in the car. I bet he could beat some wrc drivers even with R5 car. When he was young he was doing that kind of things all the time. Only he did crash a lot then.
@ΕλένηΕλενίδη5 жыл бұрын
@@sinitiivakene4904 I absolutely agree. It s not that I forgot about young Solberg, but I didn't mention him because he just hasn't competed in the World Championship yet. He proved that he has a lot of pace in Wales, even though he was a bit unlucky. However, he is doing great things in the US too. He is for sure a driver to watch in the future.
@jendabekCZ5 жыл бұрын
He will need to learn for those 4-5 years to possibly reach Tanak's level... and I don't expect Tanak to stay in WRC that long.

@@sinitiivakene4904 Oliver still needs year or two in WRC2 just to learn those events, i hope he goes to WRC2 next season so we could see how fast he is in that level first.

15 years of Sébastien Era is over, and by the looks of things, Ott is just getting started 💪🏻👊🏻 Who can challenge him after Ogier quits next season? I think only Rovanperä, but not in his first season for sure. I don't think Neuville is within the same caliber like Tänak to match him...
@e-Rally5 жыл бұрын
I think Ott is going to dominate the championship next years, he is at higher level. Lets see how is the adaptation of Rovampera to the WRC cars, but it seems that he is going to be the future of this sport.

@@e-Rally I've heard that Tanak was close to finishing his career at some point and looking for a new job. I see similarities to Kubica in his first years. Maximum attack all the time, no calculations just the lack of experience. I'm very happy he is the world champion.
@sinitiivakene49045 жыл бұрын
@@edwardshowden5511 Yes, he was out in 2013. Driving only Estonian championship and even created his own rallyteam OT Raceing wich now raises new young drivers. But you should watch Tänak's film from tanakmovie.com there's everything about his career. It must have even polisch subtitels. And it's good!
