I haven't watched yet, but: yes jaukus! Japan has huge shipbuilding capacity and I'd love to see some AUKUS-class jsdf subs.

Just finished and totally agree. If AUKUS can convince RoK and Japan to reconcile and get them both to join up we'll have the #2 & 3 shipbuilding countries on-side. I can only hope they can help all of us un-knot our sad naval outout capacity while we contribute ports, labor, technology, and trade. Speaking of course not as a representative of the US government, either.
