This is single-handly the longest programming course I have ever seen on KZbin! I've always had unparalleled appreciation for your tutorials - and this is simply undeniable proof of that. Microservices are, from what I can see, a very in-depth feature of programming and to have someone like you (an epic teacher) present that knowledge in an easy-to-understand, 16 hour tutorial is an honest blessing. I cannot wait to get into what makes microservices tick - thank you, AmigosCode!

Dude following your videos, indeed they are way more good than expectations, but to the viewer who are reading my comment : isn't spending 66usd into 16 hrs course really practical , I mean the same thing and much of similar quality is on KZbin and on other platform as well ( udemy ) i have taken them and i can give you my words for them. And if u still think something is remaining ( 99.9% u won't be feeling that) books are always there and no one has more knowledge then good books , u can refer them. Ps: I m not saying that "dude u are making business now", ofcourse everyone wants to make 💰, u are right at your place as u are putting a lot lot lot of time efforts and many more things, thus u must be getting reward for it, but this time u are being greedy 66usd is way to high for some of us ( infact many cuz many of ur subs are indians, u can raise a poll for it).#peace

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this error? "org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: database "customer" does not exist". I'm logged into pgAdmin, I've created the server, created the customer database etc. They only way I can get it to run is by creating the customer DB in my own Postgres, even then it doesn't show up in the pgAdmin under port 5050.

Because at 39:00 its not spring-datasource-jpa , its just spring - jpa, it needs to be indented. This video is the same video at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmWbZp6Lg9WDrKc with the same issue. If you want to change the image name in the docker-compose you will need to build it first using a docker file and "docker build -t /customer . "

In case anyone else is having this same problem, it's because the local postgres is already running on port 5432. So it's looking there first and not finding the customer database. So I mapped docker/postgres to a different port in my docker-compose: ports: - "2345:5432" networks: - postgres And in my application.yml: ...localhost:2345/customer

To get you to buy the full course. Also it’s only an hours of real stuff then it’s probably edited portion of the second part with out the code and stuff. To be honest this is all fair. he puts in a lot of work into this and it’s showing you that it’s quality stuff. Out of all the KZbinr he actually shows you how things are done in a real software job where as other KZbinr are teaching you thinks just to teach you which is good but you will reach a point where you can’t move forward because you don’t know how things are done in a real world setting
