What is List? - An ordered collection that allows duplicates. - Examples: ArrayList LinkedList, Vector. - Characteristics: Ordered: Elements have a specific order. Allows duplicates: Can store multiple copies of the same element. Types of Lists - ArrayList - Dynamic array-based. - Fast and efficient. - Not thread-safe (non-synchronous). #LinkedList - Efficient insertion and deletion. - Not thread-safe - Vector: - Thread-safe (synchronous) implementation. - Slower than ArrayList due to synchronization overhead.
