int[] mark={10,20,30,} mark[0]=10; mark[1]=20; mark[3]=30; this method is ok sir but another method is confusing like int[] mark=new int[5]. how it's store the value please explain this int[] mark=new int[5].

You are initiating an array with the length of 5.

5 is not the value stored in array 5 is the amount of indexes created in array ( Actually the index starts from "0" so there are totally 4 indexes.)

No need to make 5000 variable, this not the useful of Arrays, this case you have to create 5 variable for each subjects such as Tamil, Maths , Science, Art and Social then put the marks of the each student mark for each variable subjects
