i think you need to add mysql jar in libraries for that folder

You can either add the class to that specific folder, or import it to a Jar store (user specified) within your production environment and it'll work. Either way, the jar will be copied over to the compiled archive

your netbeans doesn't have the jDateChooser widget, you can download it from the internet and add it to netbeans

in each error you can read the line number -> go to this line and view what's the problem maybe the database is not connected or it's empty and the exception is not handled

This is 9 months late but to answer your question (and to anyone else who is wondering): You must enable the Auto Increment property of the column, to do this: 1. Head over to your phpMyAdmin page. 2. Select the database you're using for your program. 3. Select the table you're using for your program, and click the Structure button or tab. 4. Check the column(s) you need to have an auto increment property and click the Change button. 5. Check the checkbox under the A_I title and click the Save button. Sir, great tutorial. I really appreciate it. But I've a question. Why you've used mysql as database. As a web developer, I know people use it for web development purpose only. If somebody wanna use this windows application then they have to setup mysql in their pc. It seems to me a difficult task for general users. Android have sqlite database by default. Is there something like that in windows?

You can embed your database using SQLite, Derby, H2 or even HyperSQL. Embedding a MySQL server is doable but alot more complicated.

when you you download the project file, you will get the source code and the database script 1 - go to phpmyadmin and create a new database and name it "java_inventory_db" 2 - run the database script in this database (java_inventory_db) NOTE: if you go to the source code page you will find a disclaimer [ ...and to debug any error/exception is your responsibility... ]
