I'm guessing you have a mac cause this usually happens to me, but the fix is that you open Terminal and then write: defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false

Funny how you say "nothing else has changed" when you can cleary see line 8 and 9 in game.java are different from the last videos. That threw me off when player movement didn't work as it was supposed to - wasn't getting any error btw. Turns out I forgot one line in the gameloop from video 1 *facepalm* Good thing I instinctively looked in the right place (and video). Found my error within 5 min.

Same here, I didn't put "this.requestFocus();" in the beginning of the game loop. Your comment helped me find it. I feel like he doesn't completely understand his own code. But it still is an awesome series.

I don't think there's much point in not zooming in. Especially when people use you in a side window, it helps a lot when it's zoomed in so I suggest always doing so

Pls pls, tell me. Why do you use 1f for acceleration and 0.5 for deccelaration. I played around with number a bit, lowering it by 0.1. And movement totally gets ruined. Are those 2 the magic numbers? can i use something else instead? I.E to make a slower character

The number must multiply into 1.0 for example 1, 0.5, 0.25, 0.1, etc.
