Static Variables: These variables are not serialized, So during deserialization static variable value will loaded from the class.(Current value will be loaded.) Only serialVersionUID is a special static variable used by the serialization and deserialization process

moving war .. there are tools like jenkins which build and deploy war by using tomcat start/stop scripts by using server names code repo location and branch name etc that you need to provide in jenkins. You can also generate war with env=prod and use winscp like tools to transfer file onto prod server. Nice job on the interview!

I don't understand why these interviewers ask soap vs rests comparison. soap is a protocol, rest is an architecture. This is like comparing apple to orange. Why we use exception handling? If we don't handle program will halt abnormally and user will not understand what went wrong. So we need to catch the exception and handle it properly.

you said how to save object into database while explaining answer you said that Transaction.commit and if there is any problem in transaction then call Transaction.rollback but if we commite once transaction then not rollback again, if i am correct/wrong please comment
