I see you created the business logic/service inside a different package. Is it that how it is done in real time... I mean is that a good practice to dump all the service logic inside a different package ?

And i didn't get success results in browser How many time i submit it that many shows only http status not found

In the authenticate(String userId, String pass) function you check the password if it is equals to " " (password.trim() == " "), but this is the wrong way to do this. This checks if password and the " " (empty string) point to the same object in the memory. password.trim().equals(" "); this would be the right way to do it.

@webservlet annotation only supported with tomcat 7 and above .
