That 'Backup gloves' gag had me laughing out loud. That's such a subtle, specific reference to how every Lombax is always wearing gloves for some reason. There was a lot of references and item models from previous games, but it also wasn't boring or expositional or super serious story edgy Ratchet from the Future series, I liked it a lot. I think if they make it into a series it doesn't have to be super cannon serious storyline like the game series, cartoons have a different pacing and it's interesting seeing the characters outside of the 'epic' storyline. Let the writers have some fun with it (if they even decide to do it), while keeping to original cannon as much as possible, that's how good stuff gets made when creativity flows.

Even Ratchet? I wouldn't say he's so much "stupid" in this as he is selfish. Like an anti-hero. But his personality still feels believable for a teenager or young adult (he's 19 according to Google), and he does eventually do the right thing, so I wouldn't say his personality is detrimental.

If I were to make something like that, I would have a Dreadzone series with having Team darkstar with the same as all 4 one. first, Cap’n Starshield, kid nova ratchet & clank would be Team darkstar, but then after ratchet and Clank survives they would become all serious and each of the new members, including ratchet & Clank Dr. Nefarious, Cap’n Qwark. This entire video was absolutely entertaining, and moreso than the 2016 movie AND Rift Apart. Ratchet and Clank actually had personalities that seem to best fit their characters, and through good pacing and humorous moments, it was a complete package of fun to watch. None of this has been present for a very long time in the series, and while I'm glad that both our main characters have grown past the minor childish acts they commit here, I'd still want them to carry the sort of dynamic that makes them both work. I'm real happy that this short movie exists, and I hope to see more of it.
